What are some simple, fun games we could throw together for our twins who are turning four next month? It won't be a huge party... just us (me, hub, and the kiddos), his parents and my parents... and maaaaybe my sister. So, games would just be for the four older gals to play.
Anybody got some ideas for me that you've tried and the kids just loved? I sure would appreciate it! :) TIA!

spooning cotton balls from one bowl to another ... olders can do it blindfolded, littles don't necessarily need to ... I'd just say 'see how many you can get in 30 seconds' or something like that
clothespin drop ... stand over a jar, hold clothespin at your nose and try to drop into the jar .. again, how many in X time frame
those are all great motor skills kind of games for littles
and of course there's pin the tail on the donkey kind of stuff...you can carry that over to pretty much any theme ... pirates = eye patch or peg leg, flowers = petal, butterfly = body, strawberry shortcake = hat....you get the idea ;)

Shrink and Seek
like hide and seek except each player has a small object that represents them. they hide the object, the object that is found last, that person goes next.
that's all i got so far
Esther's suggestion made me think of sardines...if you haven't played it is basically the opposite of hide and seek. One person hides, the others seek...when anyone finds the hidden person, they hide with them in the same spot and wait until the others find them and everyone is hiding in that one spot. Last person to find the 'sardines' can be the next to hide.
