So, ds is pretty much all potty trained as long as he is bottomless and usually he remembers to go #2 in the potty when he has underwear on but he always always always forgets to go #1 in the potty when he has on any clothes - cloth or disposable training pants, regular big boy underwear, shorts - you name it, he will pee on it. I guess he just needs more time? Other than that I am not sure what to do to help him remember not to pee in his undies.

Maybe setting a timer to remind him that he needs to go sit on the potty. I know my kids just got so busy that they just didn't notice until it was too late. A timer worked for us.

I seriously need to get some more timers, lol. Big ds had a timer for school and it just stopped working, so now he needs a new timer and I guess little ds may need one too. Maybe I can use my stop watch or set a million alarms on my cell for both of them to be more fru-gal.

You could use the timer on your oven if you have one, or just bring out an alarm clock (and start teaching telling time some too for the fun of it.)
Have you tried a pee pee chart? Had to do that with the eldest. I just cut a piece of paper into four pieces and every time she went potty she got to put a sticker on it. After a week of no misses, she got to go get the book she wanted at the store (a stupid book about a speedy turtle that was like a buck). Worked quite well (that was after she was trained and decided to test us into the I don't want to use the toilet thing).
Oh, do you use thicker training pants with him, or regular so if he goes his legs still get a stream down them? That may help.
Just remember, eventually he'll get it. He's gotten it this far, it won't be like this forever. Until then, stock up on wool lite pet stain remover. Works great on kid stains. That reminds me, I need to go get another bottle.
