View Full Version : Who sent the water
His butterfly 01-19-2010, 02:55 PM Okay, I can't keep quiet any more. Who sent me the water? J/K.
Anyways, I am currently over here. I took two tests, one Sunday night and one Mon morning, and got 2 positives in less than 30 seconds. Not sure how it happened as I was on lo-dose BC when I got pregnant. [whatscratchinghead] But nonetheless, it happened so it is a blessing. I go in to see my doc on Monday to confirm so we'll see. He said that BC shouldn't hurt anything but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much until he does the U/S on Monday.
For now though I'm combating fatigue, cravings, food aversions, the bi-hourly bathroom breaks, a bit of nausea, sore girls, and bloating. And I'm praying for a healthy pregnancy.
Huge congrats!!! Praying you have a H&H 9 months!
Reneemomto5 01-19-2010, 03:06 PM Oh wow, congratulations Sarah!!! I am sooo happy for you! Will keep your appointment in my prayers sweetie. Please keep us posted.
Oh wow!!! Woo hoo!!! Congratulations, Sarah!!! :) I sure am happy for you gal~ :) I can't believe you kept it from us this long~ ::snort:: I'll be praying that all is well, gal~ But I think the fact that you're experiencing symptoms of pregnancy is a good sign~ :) With my m/c's I didn't experience anything but AF symptoms... crampiness and that type of thing. :)
mamallama 01-19-2010, 03:12 PM Congrats!!
AbundantlyBlessed 01-19-2010, 03:17 PM :-D Congratulations! Praying for your appointment to go well and that all is well.
His butterfly 01-19-2010, 03:21 PM Thanks gals. Prayers would be appreciated. Been a little crampy off and on but the nurse said she thought it was just gas and not to worry about it. So trying to stay positive. Can't wait for Monday thought.
BTW we're trying to keep this under wraps as long as we can so please don't mention anything on FB. Not sure how long we can keep it a secret though because, go figure, I'm already starting to show. Weird. 6 weeks tomorrow and already have the teeniest little bump.

Yeah, for me, there was always a difference in the cramping... I always *knew* by the kind it was that things weren't going well. I'll be praying hun~ ::hugs::
Katielady 01-19-2010, 03:37 PM Still praying for you girl!!!
BlessedMommy 01-19-2010, 03:53 PM Congratulations, Sarah!
His butterfly 01-19-2010, 03:58 PM Yeah, for me, there was always a difference in the cramping... I always *knew* by the kind it was that things weren't going well. I'll be praying hun~ ::hugs::
Yea. I just haven't been pregnant in 5 years and honestly I've forgotten what it is supposed to feel like. I remember feeling crampy later on in pregnancy as the tendons begin to stretch but I think it's too early still. The good thing is no spotting or bleeding with the cramps and the nurse said that is a good sign.
Now the morning sickness I'm not sure how to deal with. I pretty much have none and I've always been one of those people who say, "well if your having morning sickness then everything is going good." Now I have next to none and it's weird. I don't know what to think. Yea, no one likes having morning sickness. I don't get it and think something is wrong. There's a switch for you.
His butterfly 01-19-2010, 03:59 PM Thanks Katie and Ruth!
BlessedMommy 01-19-2010, 04:01 PM It can be different for everybody. I had very, very little morning sickness with either of my kiddos. They are perfectly healthy. :D

Then my mind scrolls over the other thread titles in this forum...something about the water...ooooo that must be it! LOL

Sarah- I didn't get morning sickness with Eliya until after eight full weeks, and even then, it wasn't full blown~ I remember being sooooo thankful that first time I threw up, and this time too... because you're in those first few weeks after a BFP and wondering if it's gonna stick. ::snort:: I don't know that any other time in my life I've actually praised God while spewing in the toilet. ::snort::
Ashlee 01-19-2010, 07:04 PM Congrats Sara!

His butterfly 01-21-2010, 07:48 AM Yea. My girls are going to be little mommas for sure. They absolutely will love having a baby around. Aidan especially. She's already one. :-D I know as soon as we tell them they will get excited. We're just waiting until Monday after the doctor confirms it.
gamommyto4girls 01-21-2010, 08:08 AM A bit late in seeing this thread, noticed your ticker. Congratulations! FWIW, my morning sickness was milder and started a week or so later with each successive preg. I always felt like my system had become more tolerant of the hormones or something.
Will be praying for a healthy preg. and baby for you.
