Hi, I'm Sunflower!

My real name is Joy Lynn, but I noticed that you already have one here, so I guess I'll just go by Sunflower, which is alright with me! :D

I'm a 41-year-old SAHM to two really sweet boys. My oldest one is 13 and is in the 9th grade, and my youngest is 6 and in the first grade. I also have 3 cats and a balding husband. :lol:

I enjoy reading and cross-stitching (once I get a project going!), collecting teddy bears and angels, going to Bible studies, and helping out in the church library. I adore cats (all animals, really) and I'm enchanted by sunflowers and little pink tea roses. I love to eat, but I hate to cook. :oops: I'm also very fond of coffee (decaf, of course!). :wink: Hmmm... what else??? Oh, yeah, I'm a vegetarian, and I love Jesus! :D I think that's about it!

Welcome! I am what my husband calls a closet vegetarian. :lol: I worked for 2 years for a cardiologist and I was the only meat eater in the office, so after that long, I pretty much stick soy all the way now. Healthier and cheaper in a lot of ways. Maybe we can swap recipes sometimes. I have a great cookbook at home I use a lot for oatmeal burgers and such. Trying to convert him, but know I am a long way off. Great to have a veggie buddy on here!

Lakeview Golf Resort is, basically, right next door to our new church building! It can't be missed -- it's HUGE! :shock: We just moved into that building last month. If your aunt lives anywhere near there, then she knows all about it, I'm sure. Unfortunately, our new building is causing lots of traffic problems on Sunday mornings. I can't imagine that the residents around there are too amused. :( Hopefully, we'll get it all worked out soon! :roll:
