I just love baby development! :D So what are you little ones up to these days?? How are your kiddos doing??

Grace is 5 months old now. Can't believe it!
On Christmas Eve her first front bottom tooth finally broke through! Christmas day her second one came in. She was such a champ through it all, considering we were traveling the whole time!

Just this last week she has started being a real rolly-polly! She can roll from belly to back and back to belly! She's even started to do in her crib... which had me awake and nervous the other night since we were still using a blanket to keep warm. We're done with those now and only using sleep sacks from now on. :)

She LOVES to stand and jump in our laps. She just giggles and squeals when she gets to do it. So fun! :D

She's definitely a people person too. We were in church last Sunday and she was cooing and fussing, back and forth. Just as I was about to take her out, she looked up at this man standing in the back (an usher, I think he is) and he was very serious - not smiling or even looking at her - and she just lit up and smiled at him! She kept looking up at him and smiling and cooing. It was the cutest thing!! :)

What? You want pictures? OK! ;)

Aww, look at those cheeks. She is adorable! :-D

We have just been having so much fun with our little bambino! :-D We have been hauling him around on trips and spending the whole day in the ski lodge or taking him xc-skiing and he is just the easiest baby. So smiley. We both get a laugh several times a day and often in the night listening to him singing and finding his voice. It is so sweet. Dh is super enjoying spending time with him and we have to kick the other munchkins off him in the mornings since they are so excited to snuggle him. [multiplesmilies]

oh man, is just me or do we seriously have some cute babies on c-moms?

Well Elliana is 7 weeks old, she holds her head up pretty well, and she just starting to laugh a little and coo. She is such a sweet baby. My favorite time to talk to her is around 6:30am for feeding. She is just so alert and smiley.

Aww thanks gals! I think Grace is pretty adorable myself, but I'm a little biased! ;)

I looove hearing about and seeing the other little babies! So darn cute!

I can't believe Elliana is already 7 weeks! But to be smiling and laughing already!? So cute! Love the pictures of her! :)

Kathaleen, your little man is precious! Just love that picture. I'm so glad he's doing well and his siblings are oogling over him all the time! How fun!

Babies are such blessings! I know there are more out there... I wanna hear about and see them all. :D

Awww, your babies are beautiful! [heart] And I can't believe how big they're getting. [lovesmile]

So, let's seeeee...[whatthink] ... My babies... (you said 'everyone'!)... hehe! Us mommies with older kids don't talk that much about our bigger babies. :-D

My lil' baby boy, Scotty, just turned 17 in November. He's growing so big, and he's the cutest little guy ever. [lovesmile] He's now 6 feet tall! He was just a little shortie when I first came to C'moms! He got an electric razor for Christmas! [whateeeeeksign] Hasn't shaved *yet*, but will shave his little bit of peach fuzz soon. He's waaay smarter than his mommy in so many departments. He's really into computer programming and creating applications (???... whatever that is), studying and memorizing HTML codes... [whatwacko] But, he still needs Mommy to tuck him in every night. He's such a joy, and he makes me laugh all the time with his goooooofy sense of humor. [cheerful]

Sweet lil' Carissa turned 15 in November. She's the same size as me now. She's sooo pretty, toooooo! When we go out together, we get some LOOKS! Oh my! Teenage girls look at her like she's a threat, the boys follow her and act stupid, making excuses to walk past her again and again... But I hate it when old men ogle her. Grrr! She's absolutely oblivious to it all, and that makes me really proud. [claploud] She's gentle and feminine, and she calls me her best friend. I can tell she's gonna be a good mommy by the way she is with Courtney and Chloe'. She's very patient and nurturing, and loves to teach and help them with their schoolwork.

Courtney Noelle (my baby Nernie) turned 13 in August and has just entered puberty. She's suddenly shot up in height and she may just pass Carissa and me up soon. She's only maybe half an inch shorter than us! She's beginning to develop and she's gorgeous. She looks like a barbie doll with her long spaghetti legs, blue eyes, and long blonde hair down past bunz. She's a whiz in school and a talented artist. She's super deep and loves to talk about the Lord, and she's the one who leads the kids' Bible study each day. She's soft spoken and very, very sensitive. When she talks about Jesus and the things He teaches her, she cries. [heartbeat]

Last of all, my tiniest lil' baby, Chloe'. She turned 10 in August, and to me, it feels like she should be about five or six. She looks so small and young next to my teens now. She's a real people pleaser and will do anything for her siblings, any time. They don't mind that she seldom leaves their sides because she openly adores them and she praises them without restrain. She still likes to climb into my lap, even though she barely fits now. And when we're standing and talking, she has to hold me tight around the waist while she looks up at me. Then when I try to walk away, she's like glue and walks with me like that. It *could* be irritating when I'm trying to hurry, but all I have to do is look at my bigger babies and I can see my days are numbered before I could be looking *up* into her face. *sniff* [crwy] So I let her cling as much as she likes. [lovesmile]

Oh, girls, it's true that it goes so fast! When I first came to this site, I had four little kids. Now I have three teens (one almost adult) and a big kid. We were at a party on New Years Eve and I was sitting with my boy, when a group of ladies came over to us. I introduced myself and then told them Scotty was my son, and they all about choked, and they gasped, 'that's your SON?!? No way!!' They were serious. [crybawl] I'm not ready to be almost done! [crytantrum]

LOL! Click on my blog-a-log-a-ding-dong for current pics. I actually thought about posting pics of my big babies, but then I realized I have easy access pics in my blog. Even thought about posting actual baby pics, but.... *ahem* I don't think anyone had digital cameras when mine were babies. In fact, we didn't even own our first puter until my now ten year old was two or so. I'd have to take pictures of pictures. heehee!

Your babes sure are the cutest things ever, though, Esther! [lovesmile]

Well, I don't really have a pic to share at this moment and I'm not going to drag him out of bed to get one.....

But, anyway, for the bragging....

Micah is 10.5 months now and such a sweetie! He loves to smile and giggle. He's very roly poly, at around 25 pounds. Mamas milk does a body good!

He crawls extremely fast and will utilize that skill to follow me or his sister when we leave the room. Hannah just loves him and has since he was born! He's now couch surfing and working on perfecting the skill of standing up unassisted. I'm sure that walking is coming in the near future.

He eats usually whatever we're having at the dinner table. I'm simply too lazy to spoon feed. A new favorite of his is potato salad! He gobbled it up and whined for more. LOL.

I love to cuddle him and rock him and I have so much more perspective than when my eldest was a baby. I realize how fast they grow up! I can hardly believe that he turns ONE next month! Didn't I just give birth to him last week?

Ha! Thanks Jen! [hug] I'm sure that's not at all coming from a 'biased sistah perspective', either. lol! [rotfl] That's okay, though. I'll take it any way I can get it. heehee!

Ruth, I cannot believe your [angelwithlittleang: is almost a year old! Impossible! And yes, it's amazing how much your perspective changes with each child and the older you get.

Blessings, Mamas! [lovesign]

Oh my goodness!! I just love it!

Thank you soooo much Joy for sharing! I loved reading your post... brought tears to this new-mama's eyes just thinking about my little girl being 17 in a flash! EEK! :D LOVE your blog by the way! So fun! Your kids are beautiful!!

Donna... how did Aiden get to be a month already!?! He's super cute! You must be so proud! :D

Ruth, when you have a chance, I'd love to see pics of Micah and Hannah! :D Love the names by the way. I'm so inspired by your nursing. We're at almost 6 months and going strong! Looooove it! [thumbsup]

And on a completely off note... AF came back yesterday with a vengence! I had been bleeding/spotting every two weeks since Grace was born. But I don't think I ever ovulated. I very clearly did this last month! And DH and I were wondering... wondering... wondering... if we'd be welcoming baby numero dos any time soon. But alas... not this month. I was kinda sad about that (even though we're not TTC until Grace is closer to 1 or 1 1/2).

:D

Thanks! I'll try to get a picture of them soon.

Tandem nursing really has been wonderful! If you get pregnant with baby #2 while nursing Grace, I highly recommend it! :D It has smoothed the sibling transition so much.

the other night brandon folded his hands and closed his eye at dinner prayer (a monumental feet in it's self) and repeted the last word of each sentance after my dh!! SOOOOO, cute!!!!!!! He's just in that super cute stage anyway, where just about everything he does is cute.
