A lot of the times that he is in the bathroom, he seems to want to go stand by the toilet and swish his hands in there. Not so great if his older sister just used the toilet and didn't flush yet. [rofl]
Did any of you have babies that had a toilet fascination?

Josh loves to flush the toilet, and he also like putting things in the toilet so mama has to "fish" it out. Not so much fun if I just plopped poo.

Mine are not really babies anymore and they still do [whatwacko] Yeah I think that is probably pretty normal Ruth :)

Yes, all of mine liked the toilet. Made for some early potty trainers though! LOL

Oh, yes! Our oldest tossed my journal in the toilet when he was little and it seems I can remember lots of splashing. [whatwacko] Gotta keep an eye on a toddler that likes the toilet, though, because of the danger of drowning.
Holly was my big "potty" baby... I would find her just sloshing her arm around in it and giggling to herself. Eliya is interested in it, she'll go stand by it and LOOK in it, but she has yet to stick her arm in or anything, thank goodness. ::Snort::

I think what your son is doing is normal Ruth. Babies like to explore and learn by doing so. I think it's really cute! Madre is correct though that the drowning aspect of it can be a little scary.
