I was thinking of you all and was praying for you. I hope you guys are doing well.
I know things can get hectic around Christmas time, don't forget to take time to rest and drink plenty of fluids. Love you ladies!

Jen~ You're due next right?

Hi Esther! Thanks for asking. :D I'm doing well. Just had an appt with the dr this past week and everything looks good. My ultrasound is booked for January 18th....I'm super excited about it but it feels like forever to wait! lol Not much else to report.

Jen....I just realized I completely forgot to get back to the last thread with update questions! Sorry!

Doing better here~ I had another visit with my midwife... I had a gush of fluid yesterday and then was still pretty "damp" feeling today... and the Wild Yam wasn't really working anymore, so contractions are still giving me a problem. BUT, turns out I am NOT leaking fluid... so, I more than likely wet my pants. I'd MUCH rather have to up my Kegels and know that I am wetting my pants than to have my water break and be delivering a baby at this stage. Oy. I can deal with the embarrassment of knowing I wet myself... ::snort::

Anyways... I have dilated a bit... I went from completely closed and firm, to softer and a full one cent. Not much, I know, but it's a change. :-/ BUT, God is in control... HE knows what's going on... I'm trying to take it easier, keep this little guy in here at LEAST until January 19th, when I am over 37 weeks. That's only a month away! Pray with me that he stays put for a month!!!

I'm doing well though... my main concern was the fluid... and now that I know I'm just incontinent, I'm SUPER happy! :)

How's everyone else?

Thanks for asking Esther!! :)

Oh Jen, don't scare me like that! Peeing your pants is not something us moms are new to. I'm glad things are going alright!

Kim! It's so hard to wait for those appointments!!!!

[rofl] Tell me about it! (Although I certainly wish it weren't true! lol)

Yeah, the older I get, the more times I'm pregnant, the less glamorous it is! ::snort::

PS

I've lost a few more pounds, but my midwife didn't even mention it, so obviously it's either A) not a big deal, or B) really common, or C) all of the above. ::shrugs:: I try to eat... but between acid reflux, the nausea, and baby taking up all my stomach space... there's just not much appetite there. :)

Doing great here! Don't think I've felt quite this good in pregnancy before... other than a lot of pain in my tailbone area, but it's not constant at least!

Thanks for the reminders, Esther - I haven't been drinking enough. Basically every appt I've had proteins in the urine so I have to step it up. I've been on the go SO much it's hard to keep drinking & getting rest... :(

Try putting a couple of waters in the freezer, then when you are going to be busy or gone all day, put them in a cooler bag and leave it in the car. they'll slowly melt and stay pretty cold, and the'll be right there so you can stay hydrated. :-D

lol....where we live, this time of year it would just stay frozen in below freezing temps! heehee. (Margi lives near me! :) ) Awesome idea for the summer though! It is hard to make sure to drink enough throughout the day sometimes, that's for sure! :D

In that case just put a case of water in your trunk or on the floor of your car under the seat :)

That's what I do... I keep a case of water in the back of the van, and I *always* have cold water this time of year. It's awesome! :) Especially since I just cannnnnnnnot drink warm water when pg. blech.

lol....even putting a case of warm ones wouldn't last for more than an hour or so, eh? :D We put all our extra juice in the garage to help keep them cool...not enough room in the fridge...and even with the garage being warmer than the actual outdoors, they are completely frozen now! Brrr....

I know! My boys won't drink the juice I keep in the garage cuz it's WAY too cold, almost frozen!
