So, what the heck's going on? I know nursing changes affect all that and he has changed a bit there but, really? Is such a massive increase normal before fertility returns?

Our bodies are just.so.stinkin. strange, aren't they?! I've been there myself, it's rather annoying, as far as what it means?! I haven't a clue, are you sure you are not becoming fertile again?! After all isn't it about that time where you make an announcement?! Not hinting just asking ;) lol

I would say you're more than likely returning to ovulation. After having Abby and Micah, when my body was returning to being fertile I would produce HEAPS of ewcm, just like you're describing. It only lasted that first time, and the next time it would be what I normally get during my cycle. Go make a baby girl;)

Sounds like fertility is on the way! After I had Hannah I had all kinds of weird on and off CM, and right before my first PPAF, I had full blown eggwhite for about 3ish days, and then a sharp full thermal shift. About 11 days later AF started and about 2 months later I got a BFP. ;)

Do you have a thermometer? You might want to take temps to confirm ovulation.

were you taking anything for your congestion? I know certain cold med's can thin out the mucus in your body so you can cough it up or blow it out and it will sometimes increase your CM as well.
But I have had CM like what you are experiencing.

I remember a serious increase similar to this before...I just don't recall the time frame...how long did that last before af? kwim?

Um....yes I recently experienced that too Tara. I got PPAF in.....November I think....wow I have a horrible memory now....but I had super CM too in Jan, got pg...m/c then had the most and best fertile CM EVER! Now pg again....so I think your body is probably trying to gear up for something...or you have an infection and your body is trying to clean itself out. Any itching? haahaa!!
