She feels like she's gonna start her period! She says if feels like something want to come out down there and contrating.....I'M TIMING IT [whatwacko]
Pray nothing happens now cause I'm carless til' 9:30pm!!! I'll have to ask my neighbor to take us to the hospital :-D
Do you think the feeling is the mucus pluge wanting to release?

That sounds like more than a mucus plug. I'm going to guess that she's starting labor, honestly! I'm sure she is feeling all the pressure of the baby pressing down. Keep us updated!

keep timing
it could be early labor
is she just cramping a bit? still able to function? if she gets to where she needs to pause and/or breathe through the pains then you want to get her to the hospital soon
but if she's just at a 'hmm, ok, this feels different and slightly uncomfortable' stage then just keep watching :)

have her keep walking, let gravity work its magic ;)

Thanks T....I just wasn't sure at what point to take her to the hospital. Her doctor would like her to labor at home as much as possible.
Jessy...that's what is happening, I'm sure! UGH.....this is to much for me! Seeing my baby hurt, I just want to do it for her!!!!
She's like MOM, I'M GONNA NEED THE EDIDURAL...this is crazy

I'm with T on this one... gravity is her friend right now, getting her on the sofa with her knees wide or on her knees, laboring in that position will help the cervix open (so I've been instructed by my midwife anyway). I'm excited for you guys!

Speaking as a prior single mom who had her mom as a labor coach let me just tell you, Donna... *YOU* staying strong, being a little "mean" is exactly what she needs! Tell her she can do this, remind her of her goals (whatever they were) for labor, tell her to stay focused... help her to remember to breathe through the pain, be her COACH. If you crumble emotionally, so will she~ My mom was a horrible coach ::snort:: and it was because she was so heartbroken for me... and I needed her to be *tough* for me. I wound up caving and getting that epidural at the last moment, and afterwards I was so sorry I did. :) Be strong for her, Donna~ ::hugs:: Praying for you guys!

Same thing with me, but it was my husband that crumbled and I regret getting the epidural that didn't work. I still had to labor and push with the pain, but now I have a very sore and bruised back from the epi, which happens.
