View Full Version : Baby soon, maybe?!
krazee4jc 11-28-2009, 08:38 PM Rachel has been very uncomfortable today :( Her back has been KILLING HER!!! It's been going on all day and she's very tired :???: Brown chunks of mucus released she's very irritable, sweats and nauseas.
I'm just keeping an eye on her, if I feel she can't take it anymore I'm gonna call the doctor. I'll keep ya'll posted, officially she has 14 more days left!
Pray for her she's starting to get scared and I keep crying cause I'm so happy but then hurt to see her going through the pain.
PianoMama 11-28-2009, 10:10 PM aw! it's getting close! prayers for Rachel...
krazee4jc 11-28-2009, 10:40 PM Things settled down now, VERY CLOSE, can't wait :-D Keep her in prayers.
She feels as if she's not gonna dialate then have a c-section :( I think it's cause 2 of her friends just went through that....FEAR TRYING TO SET IN [praying]
Jessy 11-28-2009, 11:00 PM Oh, Donna, I'm so sad she has such thoughts :( Just keep pumping her full of good thoughts, tell her to picture herself dilating, baby coming down and out, she can do it! Praying for peace for her.
krazee4jc 11-28-2009, 11:20 PM Wow, she has dropped so much!!!
I told her to rebuke those thoughts!!! God is in control, he'll guide the ship you just clean the deck :-D She laughed! I told her, Fear has no authority in this place, IT'S GOD'S PLACE!!!
4HisGlory 11-29-2009, 01:26 AM so excited!!!! can't wait to hear!
savedbygrace 11-29-2009, 02:37 AM sounds like she could be real close! Praying for her.
krazee4jc 11-29-2009, 02:45 AM I just came from her room, she's feeling a lil' better now. She's hoping for a good night rest.
DH really wants baby to come on due date, we will both be on vacation at that time :-D
Madre 11-29-2009, 10:35 AM I'm excited for you, Donna! :-D What will your new grandbaby eventually call you? My mom is "Nana" to some of her grandkids and "Grandma" to others.
Donna- She can try sitting on an exercise ball orrrr on the end of the sofa cushion (not sitting back in a reclined position- sitting up straight), knees apart, and that will help the baby to come down into the birth canal and help her dilate. There are lots of things that she can do to help that along... there is a WEALTH of information on this website http://www.spinningbabies.com/techniques it's good to go through and ready and just googling "getting your baby in a good position for birth" will help too. :) Tell her to stop fretting... tell her to sit and imagine her cervix opening... relax all her muscles, relaxation and good deep breathing can make a world of difference! Not to mention praying heavily~ :)
krazee4jc 11-30-2009, 12:15 AM Madre, we are very excitied everyone!!! I will be Moomah :-D I've collected cows since I was 17 by accident! It's like that's all people get me or when they see something cow they are like I thought of you
Jen, she's off googling now [lovewuvu] I wish I had all you when I was preggo, your all so helpful!!
How is she doing today, Donna? :)
krazee4jc 12-04-2009, 01:04 AM Gezz....this lil' guy is testing MOMMA [whatwacko]
I've never been through all she's going through.
NO BABY YET.....EVERYONE IS WAITING
PianoMama 12-04-2009, 10:38 AM Hey Moomah! ;-) Just keep reminding her that if he's not coming 'on time' that he has his own little schedule! That's how God made it...he will come when he (and his lungs) are ready. I know when you get this close it really is hard to wait...but just keep the encouragement flowing! :-) hugs to both of you!
leona 12-04-2009, 10:48 AM Aww how exciting , he will be here soon i am sure , but yeah it's hard ((hugs)) to you both.
Katielady 12-04-2009, 12:38 PM I've been anxiously awaiting an announcement!!! Praying for you both!!! I know she may be experiencing the discomfort - but am sure you are experiencing a lot of worry too!
(((HUGS)))
Man I'm surprised!!! I can't wait to hear she's had that precious little guy!
krazee4jc 12-04-2009, 11:32 PM Jen & anyone.....Rachel is so tired of it all :(
Any suggestions on speeding things up? Doctor said do what made you this way ;) but it's very uncomfortable for her, no matter the position.
She's gonna put warm compress on her breast right now, that may help her. She's gonna google but wanted me to come ask my BRAIN FRIENDS [loveyou]
tripper 12-05-2009, 12:13 AM I've heard nipple stimulation helps, as does castor oil [whatcrazy]... not that I have any experience with this! Anyone else?
krazee4jc 12-05-2009, 12:28 AM I've heard that too for the nipples :-D Do you know if we need a special cream? Or as is :-D
I've been told to use castrol oil...where do I get it?
Rachel is ready, wants things moving!
Thanks for helping, your day will come [lovewuvu]
Jessy 12-05-2009, 12:32 AM The night before I went into labor I rocked and rolled on a exercise ball, my dh rubbed and rubbed a spot on my ankle that is supposed to put you into labor, the next morning I had my babe in arms! :)
Walk walk walk, tell her to rock her hips, there are certain pressure points (as in the ankle I mentioned) that are said to start things up. There is Castor oil but use caution when using it, it can make the baby poop inside and inhale it. I was always to scared to try it.
Here is a link for more ideas and it explains the pressure points.

Jessy 12-05-2009, 12:33 AM No cream needed for the nipple stimulation. :)

Alrighty, It's On...gonna try the points!

Yeah, I highly recommend the nipple stimulation as directed on any natural childbirth website online. It definitely works to get labor going and you can always keep doing it if labor stalls or stops. I didn't find the contractions worse than regular plain old contractions, so... it worked well for me. If I go over again, I'll definitely be using it.
Here, Donna~

~Tara~ 12-05-2009, 03:50 PM yeah, nipple stimulation can really get things moving....warning, she may become irritated with it (as in, emotionally "knock it off, I'm tired of being touched") but that's when it's hitting that high point of effectiveness.
sex and nipple stimulation have always gotten the ball rolling here
and ditto the exercise ball maneuvers
Don't get discouraged now Rachel...you're so close!! And this feeling means you're almost there. Just hang in there girl...be strong...stay positive..remember what this is for, remember the outcome. Hang in there just a while longer, soon you'll really be doing something and then you will have that precious babe in your arms. I *know* this is when the doubts and fears come in, but you have to believe in yourself and your God. You ARE strong. You CAN do this! We love you and are praying for you sweetheart. Listen to your momma, she's really trying to be an encouragement to you. She's so proud of you, your daddy is so proud of you. They are all anxious to meet the baby too, they understand. But we all need to wait on him, and Him. :) Mwah!
Jessy 12-05-2009, 03:57 PM BDing was the absolute last resort for me, just couldn't bring myself to do it, but the nipple stimulation, yup, like Jen said, worked wonders :)

krazee4jc 12-06-2009, 12:03 AM You have all been so great [loveyou]
This evening she's like, "Mom, he dosen't want to come out" I said, "Rachel, leave him be and let God do his thing"
I know your tired & he's heavy....just think of all Jesus went through for us [crossheld] He was tired & I'm sure the cross was heavy but He did it for us! TOOK IT ALL FOR US!!! FOCUS ON THE CROSS, you'll be fine [heartbeat]
Tara, she thanks you for your words!! She's crying now. Happy Joy Tears
~Tara~ 12-06-2009, 12:13 AM aww we all get to feeling like that Rachel ... we're such impatient creatures :p But that's all part of His design. He's gearing you and your body up to get him out here. He WILL come, you won't be pregnant forever. Just go ahead and cry, that release will feel good. Then thank Him for your blessing and pray for patience. Pray to accept His timing for the health of your baby. :)
And Donna...you just keep doing your thing and informing us every step of the way!!!! :D
