Hello all I'm just a lurker around this page who is thankful for all of you :) and who has a question...

I just started Bradley Classes and our instructor was talking about first time moms going past their due dates by about a week on average.
My due date is Feb.25 and everything measures perfect for that but all along I've told my dh that i have a feeling it will be march before i have the baby.

I was just wondering about everyones experience with this on their first babies. Did you go over your due date and by how long?

First off, hello and welcome to C-moms :) Congrats on your first pregnancy! I went over my doctor-given due date by 2 days but I'm not one for dates when it comes to pregnancy, I just say 'I'm due around the middle of____ or at the end of ____' and try not to focus on that date as baby will debut when they decide. :)

Hi and welcome!

My first was 10 days late. Everyone thought I'd go early but nope she didn't want to come out:-D

Hi there! My first was 10 days late (and induced at that!). He really wanted to stay put. Guessing based on how fast my labour was after induction, (4 hours start to finish) I imagine he would have arrived on his own very shortly after the 10 days. :D

Hi and welcome!! :)

My daughter was due on July 30 and she came August 1. I really thought (as did the docs) that she'd be a July baby but she thought otherwise. ;) I went into labor a few short hours after it was August. :D

Hello!

My first (and only) child came 4 days BEFORE her due date. We essentially considered it an "on time" delivery. Best wishes!
