Has anyone else noticed the 3rd pregnancy is way more different and unpredictable than the first 2? All my friends who have 3 or more kids say they noticed it too! I'd like to hear from some of you who've been through it...

I find after the second that each of them have been DRASTICALLY different. So... yes... I agree fully~ ;)

I'm on my third, and I can say "yes" it's been different. But I don't know if it's because 1. i'm having a girl 2. I got pregnant so soon and my body never fully recovered from the previous one. 3. If it's because I now have two kids and it's harder to keep my energy level up while being pregnant.

So I think that there are different things taking place.

My midwives have always said #3 is almost always different. The pg is different. Labor and birth are different. They're just different.

Proved right with me. I wasn't really sick until #3. I didn't have any early labor stuff until #3. I had issues after that I never had with the others. I STILL have issues with #3 LOL

ETA: He was a week late too....after 1-2 months of contractions, many nights of 'is this it?' then he was still a stinkin' week 'late'

Thanks you guys!! This pregnancy has just been so crazy from literally day 1... or actually day 10 was the day nausea hit. That's right - 10 days after conception and I was nauseated, hungry all the time and tired. The nausea got to be extreme, much worse than with the boys, and I had twinges and pains and stuff way earlier and more intense than I would've expected. Now the only thing is to wait 5 more days until my u/s to find out if it's all because it's a GIRL or if it's just the cursed 3rd pregnancy...

hehehe yep, sounds like me...sickies started early and stayed late. I survived on pickles for months, no joke, I could barely eat anything else
it was my 3rd boy, btw....my girl came #4 and there wasn't anything blaringly different about her pg, other than I gained weight 'all over' more than I did with the boys..that's the only thing that has held true thus far for me.

Oh and some other differences this time (good ones!) are my hair and nails growing like crazy (I've been a chronic nail biter and now I have gorgeous long nails!) and sex drive!! I was totally "off" in the bedroom with the other pregnancies and this time I've been known to "attack" dh...

He doesn't seem to mind... :b
