Yes, I have figured out my daughter, and boy is she GOOD!! I think I am going to have a looooong 14 more years ahead of me.
I was going to post a concern that DD4 was sooo stressed out by so many things. Going to the dentist caused 3 full days of worry and crying, now she is crying about starting school, learning to wipe her own butt (I know, she should have been doing this a long time ago, but you know how princesses are.. ) and many many more things. This was so bad I was seriously thinking of taking her to the dr to discuss it.
But today, a big light bulb went on and I have her figured out, infact, in her own way, she even admitted to it.
When she is not the center of attention, or getting as much attention as she feels she should be getting, she will come up with some major worry, at which point, Daddy, Granny, and for a while anyway, mommy too, will stop doing whatever we are doing, and cuddle and talk to her and do our best to reassure her that everything will be ok...when she is done, she will go back to playing.
WELLLLL, no more! Now that I am on to her way of thinking, (OK, she kinda thinks like me, but I never actually act these ideas out) she is done for. Now, I can see these things coming and nip them in the bud. I hope.
Anyone else ever had to deal with such a diva? I sure could use some pointers from someone who has been there done that.
