Ugh... I remember reaching this stage with Eliya, but it was at around 30 weeks, not 24. I was having non-stop backache, cramps, pelvic pain, BHs like crazy... I was so scared I was having pre-term labor or dilating. And I wasn't I was fine. But it drove me crazy because I was so worried I was going to go too early... and wound up carrying her to 42+ weeks. Nonetheless, I will be bringing this up to midwife and we'll take it from there.
Do any of you have chronic back pain and BHs starting near the third trimester?

with Shaelyn, my bh's started around 18/20 weeks. it was so weird for me since I didn't have ANY with Trevor!
Yeah, I was actually "diagnosed" with Irritable Uterus Syndrome? I thought my OB was making it up at the time... ::snort:: But my mom said that by the time she was pregnant with #3 her doctor said the same thing to her. Anyone else get "diagnosed" with that?
My doc said that with the cramping, lots of braxton hicks (that didn't do anything) and general discomfort, that was his diagnosis. ::snort::

This time around I have had back pain early on. and i was looking at my journal with Josiah and at 35 weeks I wasn't really having BHC. This time around, my back hurts pretty bad and I've started having BHC since 30 weeks or so. I don't have a ton of pelvic preasure but I do have some and I definately feel her down low! DH thinks I won't make it to my due date. we'll see.
Yeah, I'm thinkin' you're gonna go early.... well... you know, PRE-due date early~ But then, I was sooo sure I was gonna go early with Eliya... and look at that. ::snort::

I really don't know what to expect. Abby was a week late, Joey was on his due date... so maybe Ellie will be early? I wouldn't mind if she was a week or so early. That means the chances of her being a ten pounder is less!
