Has anyone used Expecta Lipil Supplement? I'm concerned about getting enough protein for my dear little one. I'm a vegetarian and am struggling to get the 75 grams of protein in a day. I have a vegetarian pregnancy diet but it's so hard for me to eat that much, I'm not use to it.
I'm trying so hard, eating every 2 hours for blessed baby, just concerned about getting that protein in!
Any help from the wise would be such a blessing.

Can you absolutely not eat fish/poultry/chicken? For health reasons? Because even if you "broke the rules" like a few times a week, it would probably make it a lot easier to meet your protein requirement. Unless you would get deathly ill from it, in that case don't.
Here is some info on protein and veggie diets:

I know what you mean. I'm not a vegetarian, but during my recent pregnancy I was averse to meat and eggs most of the time. Some days I would be lucky to get 50 grams of protein in. Later in the pregnancy my stomach decided it liked cheese, so that made life a little easier. But every once in a while, like after having taken two bites of chicken and knowing that I would throw up if I ate any more, I would offer the rest of my meat to DH and say, "Don't tell Dr. Brewer!"
If it makes you feel any better, my mw says that a pregnant woman is doing great to get 50-60 g of protein a day--she thinks the 80-100 g requirement is excessive and mostly unattainable--and I gave birth to a very healthy boy, despite my many days of not getting more than 50 or 60 g every day. Of course, I also took a green supplement which is stock full of amino acids.
Here's a sample menu from my pregnancy that adds up to 70 g of protein: a bowl of Swiss Muesli brand cereal w/soy milk and 2 buckwheat pancakes for breakfast (about 20 g); 2 oat bran muffins for snack (8 g); a sandwich composed of 2 slices of Ezekiel 4:9 bread and 2 ozs. cheese (dairy, soy, or rice would work) (22g) for lunch; 3ozs meat w/veggies for dinner (you could do tofu, or a cup beans w/ a cup quinoa or brown rice, etc.) (20g)
My afternoon snack was usually low in protein, and my evening snack varied as far as protein content. Sometimes I made a pudding made with soy milk, or pumpkin pie filling w/soy milk. I also had goat milk for a snack every couple days. Ezekiel 4:9 cereal is also high in protein. Don't know if regular grocery stores carry either that or the Swiss muesli, though; I shop at Whole Foods.
If your stomach can handle nuts and seeds (mine couldn't during the entire pregnancy), 1/2 cup has about 10 g of protein, depending on the nut. Peanuts and peanut butter rule as far as protein content, but they're not really nuts and not everyone can eat them (I liked them at the beginning of my pregnancy, but after the sickness went away I couldn't stand either peanuts or peanut butter.)
By the end of your pregnancy, you will be an expert in the protein content of foods!
Hope that helps! :D
