Hello
This is my first post. I have been a Christian for six years, and recently switched denominations. In the process, I have learned who I am, and what kind of Christian I want to be.
I sure could use someone to talk to. I'm leary of some people though, because some people will call themselves Christians but their hearts are cold. That was the case with some people I knew at my old church.
I am 33, and have a seven year old daughter. I am a single mom; I was not a Christian when I got pregnant.
I have an Associates's degree and I am working on my Bachelor's. I work part time as a clerical aide. I have no desire to be a stay-at-home mom, get married, or have more children. I can't do crafts and I can't cook.
I'm not a traditional Christian woman, but I am smart, sensitive, and gentle. I like to read and write and take walks.
My daughter is a blessing. I think she's perfect but maybe I'm biased. Seriously, she's a real good kid and doesn't give me much trouble. I am currently on winter break so I will not be working or taking classes for a month. I'm looking forward to this time together.
I would love to have someone to share with.
