Hey ladies! I just wanted to ask you all to say a little prayer for me and baby. We have our first appointment with our midwife Thursday evening. I feel great and have no doubts that everythings going to check out just fine but I figure a little extra prayer can't hurt! ;) I'll let you know how it went as soon as I can. Thanks ladies.. We have had home births with a mw with all ours but we've had quite a bit of bad circumstances (I guess you could say) when it comes to the mw's. It's always turned out just fine but lets just say we are still searching for the perfect mw for us. The mw we will be using this time around is a wonderful CHRISTIAN lady though.. I believe that will make all the difference! Just sharing the same faith already gives us common ground, yk? And we have dealt with her several times before because she did some post natal care for us after A was born and she also came out to the house a couple times when the kids were sick (she's a DO). So we already "know" her and so far love her! Not to mention we know two familys personally who have used her for their homebirths and they both had awesome experiences and have nothing but good to say about her. So we are hopeful that she's "the one", lol.
