Anyone else heard of this or experienced this? I'm 38 weeks and for the past about 3 weeks, If this little one really gets to moving and stretching in me as much as he can, I can hear a small popping sound at times! It sounds like a faint sound of what it sounds like when your knees snap going up and down stairs or if you pop your back mildly.....
Is this normal or okay, does anyone know?!
Bree

I would mention it to the doc to be safe. It reminds me though of the process your bones go through when pregnant. The joints become more pliable. You are actually flat footed when pregnant because of the hormone that is needed to help your hips pass the baby! But anything unusual that you notice you should call the office and tell them or mention it at your next appt. Since you are 38 weeks you should be seeing the doc weekly now. :D

I had this, and actually saw a post about this exact thing on another posting site, and so many women talked about having it. I even talked to my midwife about it when I was pg with DD, and we concluded that it was just her bones popping like ours do. At first I was a bit worried because I was imagining brittle bone syndrome (I had just seen a program on it...LOL) of course DD is fine, healthy, and growing well!!
If you are still worried ask your doc about it, but I think it's 100% normal from the responses of women who have it! :-D
