Do any of you have experience with the Ameda manual breastpump? The one with the funky greenish/blue handles?

That's the one I have this time, as Dr. had a bunch and were giving them to moms. (Free brand new breast pump? who would complain???)

It has that rubber shield thing like the Avent pumps have, and I tried it out on my thigh to check the suction (done that with all of my pumps, LOL) and it seemed just as good as the Avent on that level, but just wondering if any of you had any opinions/experience with it.

I have never tried it - but what an awesome blessing to get a free new breast pump!

I only have used a pumpNstyle but what a HUGE blessing not to have to buy it. I wonder if there is a Lactation specialist you could ask? or a La Leche legue, they might have experience with lots of pumps.

I used mine for a while but just couldn't get enough quickly (I was working at the time). My wonderful sister bought me a Medela electric and I used that for all the Goobs.

But maybe they changed the design to be better now (that WAS 5 years ago). Good luck!!

I have the ameda and I love it. Mine work as both a manual and electric pump. They are great!
