I see the other threads on potty training, so it's good to know I'm not the only one dealing with this! We are getting ready to start with our son. He will be 3 in November. I was looking at both of these programs to use and our family knows someone who used the 3 day one and highly recommends it. I just wondered if anyone here has used either and what you think about it...
Thank you!

I'm not familiar with either of those but I just wanted to say hello and welcome to C'moms. :-D

Thank you, also, Jesse. We decided on the 3 day program because it is the one a friend of the family had used and highly recommended.... and it was cheaper! :-D
Will probably start next Saturday and hope to be finished by Monday night... prayers welcomed! This is our first experience with this.
my 3 boys were all vastly different trainers...
the first literally trained in 24 hours - when he was ready... at 26 months.
the next is special needs so not important info here
the last took about 8 mo and he still wears a diaper at night (at 4 years old)
I did the same thing with all 3. LOL. At 2 years old, I taught them the mechanics of it all, skills like pulling down pants and pulling up pants, handwashing, etc...
then I let them choose diaper or underwear every day.

I'm not pt'ing any boys right now (already did that) but I am doing my daughter and since she has 2 older brothers she thinks she should be able to do like they do! She was out on our deck (thankfully we live in rural area, neighbors can't see us) and I heard diaper velcro being undone - she took off diaper, stood there on the deck and peed! LOL!!! She seems to prefer to do it standing, unfortunately that just doesn't work very well.
I've done something similar to the 3 days with the boys, with my daughter she's pretty good about only needing to go every 2 or so hours so just trying to figure out her schedule, she has some special needs issues too so I'm just seeing how things go and encouraging/not forcing/pushing the issue.
