How are all you other pregger gals doing??
I'm 12 weeks now, so only another full week and I'm in the second trimester, which just blows my mind. My tummy is still really wonky, so I haven't been able to eat fabulously healthy... but just another week or two to go and I'll be out of this "all day sickness" stuff. Woo hoo!
I've definitely felt a couple little "thonks" here and there... nothing to write home about as a definite "Fetal kick", but it definitely makes me go "hhhmm". :)
I started my prenatal pilates and they are FABulous~ I'm planning to keep them up through the whole pregnancy and do them as often as I can... I felt GREAT last night after doing it, and feel good today. It's awesome to be "active" again. I miss my workouts. :)
Anywho... that's about it for me. My next appointment isn't until the second week of August and my "big" ultrasound will be the second week of September-ish. I'm so excited~ :) Hope you other gals are all doing well! :) ::hugs::

savedbygrace 07-28-2009, 01:21 PM hey Momma's
I'm now 23 weeks and a couple of days. My little girl has been moving so much lately and I'm thoroughly enjoying each kick. I don't get as hungry because of my stomach being squished, so I have to eat smaller meals throughout the day.
I've had some indigestion and heartburn but nothing to bad. Trying to keep up with my water intake. Other than that all is good!
Jen~ proud of you for working out during your pregnancy. I know it's not easy and especially if you don't feel well. Kudos to you!
Here is my current belly.

I'm stillllll here! Hoping that I will deliver this week though! My mom (and little siblings - 5 and 7 - and stepdad) are here from FL just waiting for her to come. It's sooo hard cause I feel GREAT and LOVE being pg!!! :D But here we are waiting for Grace to come. And there haven't been any HUGE signs of her arrival yet... lots of pressure and some cramping at night and in the morning. Ctx throughout the day, but nothing too serious.
SO! If you ladies can pray that she makes her arrival... tonight, tomorrow-ish... that would be AWESOME! My fam has to leave on Friday. I know... crazy! And it's not the end of the world if they aren't here (my mom will stay either way). So yeah...
Last appt I was a "good 3 cm" and 30/40% effaced... that was last week. So hoping things are still progressing!
:D I'll let you ladies know how things play out. SOON!!!
mom2pbj 07-28-2009, 05:21 PM Glad to hear you are all doing well :)

Wooo! Be careful babe! That's how I was doing up till Eliya was born... I was constantly contracting, but nothing "too big"... then wake up one morning to insane contractions, like... she'll be here any minute type contractions... and she was born just a few hours later! ::snort:: So, I've made a mental note, when I "feel great" there towards the end, that probably means labor is going to go SUPER quick! I hope that's the case for you~ :)
Esther, you look faaaaabulous, as usual, gal!!!! I love your belly pics! :D
ChamomileFriend 07-28-2009, 06:46 PM Feeling good, can't believe I am 28 wks already! S was born at 37 weeks, so I'd like to be ready soon just in case G is born in 9 weeks instead of 12. Nervous / excited about labor being so soon!
It is hot hot hot today. On days like this I get winded really easily in the morning, but once I am really awake it is not so bad. I am going to a class at the birthing center on Friday and I can't wait!
Oooooo a class? What kind of class?? Neato! :) Sorry you're getting winded, gal, that sure stinks~ I can't believe how *close* you are! Wow!
Kristyau 07-28-2009, 08:18 PM I've been having so many problems this pregnancy, my husband and I and our Church believe we are under some kind of attack! But every time bubby kicks (which is often these days) I have this overwhelming sense of joy because this is the baby I thought I'd never have. I've made it past 23 weeks now, which is very exciting as it's the first time without a stitch that I've made it this far. I would love to add a picture of my pregnant belly, but not sure how to do that???
Praying everyone else's pregnancies are doing really well.:-D
Kristyau 07-28-2009, 08:20 PM Forgot to add - I'm going in for an ultrasound today to make sure my cervix hasn't shortened yet. Please pray for a nice long closed cervix for me![praying]
Glad to hear everyone else is doing just fine and dandy!
As for me, I'll be 31wks on Thurs!! Yikers, that's kinda come up and bit me on the behind. I have nothing ready, well almost nothing :shocker: And seeing as i went into labor with micah at 36+3 I better get a move on. I've gotten a few cloth nappies and wraps which i'm uber excited about. Still need to get a few more. And we just got some extra money so I'll be buying a couple of woven wraps for the baby as i dont have any, all I have is toddler carriers. Oh and I get to treat myself to a rocker/glider chair[clapping] I have wanted one of those since I was pregnant with Abby and I finally get to get one bcuz they have come WAY down in price. I'm in nesting mode, trying to declutter the house, have one more room to go. Need to buy all my new baby essentials and after birth essentials, and get my suitcase out of the attic this time as it was still in the attic when I went into labor with micah so there was a bit of a panic there...lol. Hmmm....I'm all organised in my head, just need to actually organise my life now...lol.
My next MW appt is next week. The MW called me last week to say my iron was a bit low, only by .2. So i have been eating lots of iron rich foods and am hoping that at my next appt my iron levels will have gone back up. Other than that, we are doing great. Baby is getting bigger and I am now feeling body parts sticking out, I love that bit but it can be a bit sore...lol.
Anyway, I think i've rambled far too much. It's like nearly 2am here and I can't sleep....ah the joys eh?
Lovin' you ladies lots!
alidight 07-28-2009, 09:00 PM Hi ladies!
I am 34 weeks today! yay nearly there! I can't believe how fast it's been!
I am doing well - had a little worry the other day when bub didn't move for 24 hours but after a quick trip to the hospital to monitor her she started moving and heartbeat was normal - all it took was a drink of ice cold lemonade!!
Have been craving sugar like a madman. Trying not to give in too much. Have my next midwife appt on Monday so looking forward to that. We are pretty much all set now with things for bub. Over the last week we have got the cot, bassinet, carseat and drawers as well as last minute clothes and blankets that we were short on after we were tremendously blessed at the baby shower. so now most of her room is set up and hubby just needs to put one last coat of paint on the drawers (we brought them raw pine so we could paint them how we want them). Going to do some artwork this weekend for her room with a friend - really looking forward to that!
Other than that - bub is kicking away - very active most of the time. I am starting to realise that I do only have 6 weeks (4 if doc induces me as he said he might due to my size...) and am trying not to get frustrated and feel inadequate when I can't do things I used to. I guess I've been trying to be superwoman but realise now that I need to just let my body rest which it certainly is telling me to! So today will bake some more scones (ones I made yesterday are nearly all gone!) and possibly try out the 100 biscuits receipe meg posted and then will continue knitting the baby blanket I am making (as you can see by my post I am very into anything arty!!)
Hope everyone else is doing well!!
xx Alison
alidight 07-28-2009, 09:17 PM BTW - here is a photo of me a few weeks ago at 28 weeks - will post an updated one soon!

To post a pic you need to join photo bucket or similar photo site and down load your pic to there and then copy the link into your post. :-D
Glad to be pregnant and share with you all. Your pics are beautiful Esther and Alison. Good to hear how you all are. [lovesmile]
Two more weeks for me. I feel in the middle zone. I am ready and baby could come anytime, but could also come late. So I am trying to stay busy and be prepared that baby might decide to be late too. :-D Getting lots of BH, cramps and bachaches, but no ~real~ stuff. Dh has three days off coming up and I am looking forward to that. Just drinking my raspberry leaf tea and waiting. :-D It is fun to try and decide what part of baby is kicking now that baby is so big and you can feel so much.
krazee4jc 08-02-2009, 08:54 PM Rachel is 19weeks getting big :-D She feels baby moving now she thinks it's so neat. Daddy can't wait to feel it [heart]
I love all the update, thanks for sharing!!!
kanaclark 08-03-2009, 10:50 AM I'm doing good today. I've been giving into Raindrops cravings for mexican stuff and it makes him/her a happy baby. Seriously, LOL
Just a question for my fellow moms who are on 4, 5, or 6, when did you start showing? Were you early with this one than with others? I mentioned to a friend that I have about 8 weeks till I start showing (thinking 12-13 weeks) and she said "don't count on it" Seriously?????

I think it depends on your stomach muscles. The more in shape you got the slower the pooching appears. But I think it is also different for everyone.
I showed very early with Josiah, and this time I pooched a lot later.

Dude, I started "showing" at four weeks... thus, I thought we were possibly having twins. Nope, one little gal/guy in there, but my uterus is floating higher, my midwife said. Interesting stuff.
kanaclark 08-03-2009, 06:44 PM yeah, I'm thinking my uterus may be higher, too. I felt it at more like a 6 week position than a 4 week position mid of last week. You're not supose to feel it until six weeks.
and I kept thinking, gosh, my uterus feels like an orange already, you know, firm and roundish.
I'm not showing, but my pants are getting snug already, thankfully I kept my 12's and can wear those for a while :-)
