We are not TTC, but how many days do you let go by before you break down and get a preg test? I hate to spend the money just to have a big fat no. I have been late before, a few months ago. I guess with age comes late periods? The previous two were 21 days apart and today is day 25 and still no AF. We really haven't been playing around much for anything to have happended and we do practice the "leave early" method, but I would like to quite worrying when she will show up. Last month was early and surprised me at work so needless to say, I had to run out and get some new undies and supplies at lunch that day. :)

I guess I will let it go a few more days before getting a test. The last time it was late I was secretly sad (just for a moment) that it was a big fat no. Crazy huh? :)

Well it's been 6 years since I bought a pg test, so they may be even more sensitive than back then, but I usually waited at least 11 days post ovulation....14 if I could stand it.

Do you have any idea as to when you ovulated? Maybe temping and charting would help you gain a better picture of what's happening with your cycle.

I'd give it at least ten or eleven days, and if you have a dollar tree near you, get theres. They're super sensitive and only a buck.

Thanks. I have been terrible about trying to figure out my chart. I think I am going to try and get a thermometer this weekend and start that and see. For a while I would write down when I had EGCM and it was normally about 10 days before my period. I have no idea when I have ovulated. When we got preg with DS the doctor didn't think I was every month and then boom we were preg.

Thanks. Part of me really wishes YES! But the realistic part of me realizes, that I am over weight and my husband is out of work! Yikes!

But, it will be what it will be. I will not get my hopes up. Although, DS keeps saying he wants a brother and a sister, although he is a spoiled momma's boy so I don't think he realizes how much time a baby will take from him. :)
