Well, I'm out this month.:(
Since my miscarriage back in April, it seems my cycles are shorter...especially my luteal phase. *sigh*

Well, I'm out this month.:(
Since my miscarriage back in April, it seems my cycles are shorter...especially my luteal phase. *sigh*
I'm so sorry. Vitamin B6 can sometimes help extend luteal phases by boosting progesterone levels after ovulation. If over the counter supplements don't help then a doctor can prescribe progesterone to help lengthen your phases. If it has only been 3 cycles post-m/c he or she may not want to rush into prescribing things, though. Low progesterone can be a factor in m/c and short luteal phases; your doctor can do bloodwork to check your levels, too.
How short is your luteal phase? My luteal phase was only 7 days long for months when we were TTC this baby. Dh and I decided to wait / take a TTC break when OTC supplements didn't work for us - I was still nursing and we were co-sleeping so we figured maybe my body was not ready yet even if we thought we were. As soon as we stopped co-sleeping/night nursing my luteal phase got longer and I conceived this baby.
I did continue nursing during the day, but night nursing stopped bec he started sleeping thru the nite in his own bed. Not sure if you cosleep and/or night nurse, though. In my case (but certainly not everyone's) it seemed like my short luteal phase wasn't so much a nutritional/hormone deficiency as much as it was my body just not wanting to start a new life while my current baby was still night-dependent.
After Eliya my LP was really short... I took Vitamin B6 to lengthen it, and it worked, but it doesn't for most women, you may need to take B-complex with it for absorbtion. But, I took just the B6 and it worked. I did read that if you take the B6 and get pregnant, that you should continue to take it until about 10 weeks. I sure hope you get get it lengthened and get another bfp soon, gal~

Sorry [praying] praying you get a bfp soon. I tried the b6 too, not sure if my body just needed some time, but my luteal phase did increase after a couple months.
