I had an appt yesterday with the head midwife for our county to discuss my birth plan and what we would do if they needed to transfer me for an emergency. Basically, just some red tape because I'm a VBAC and the first woman to actually fight to give birth at the birthing center here in town. The appt went great! I have always wanted a water birth but have never been able to have one. The birth center doesn't actually have a birth pool yet, they are in the process of getting one but it could still be a few years away before they get one. So I asked if I could bring my own birth pool (a girls got to try right??LOL) and they actually said yes!!! I can't believe it. I finally get to try for a waterbirth. I'm so so excited! And i have a friend who said I could borrow her birth pool and all I have to do is buy a new liner! Praise God! Now, just praying my labor goes according to plan! I think I might just burst with excitement and joy at how everything seems to be falling right into place. Woohoo!
