Yup, oldest turned 13 yesterday. The big birthday swimming party/sleepover is Friday night. She's turning into a wonderful young woman and I'm so excited to see what God has in store for her next.

Teenagers are wonderful! :mrgreen: It doesn't have to be like so many people say it's going to be. I think good communication, unconditional love, grace, good boundaries, and making sure you have special alone time with your teens to talk and just play together are things that really make a huge difference. Most teens feel misunderstood, unheard, disrespected, and unimportant to their families. There's just no need for it to be that way. I know you'll do a wonderful job, Beth. Your family is already so close, I'm sure your relationships with your teens will be as good as they are with your littles! [lovesmile]

Our third will be turning 13 next month. :-o LOL! She still feels about ten to me, though. [girlsmiley] I haven't wrapped my brain around this one yet. We'll be getting a second hole in her ears, like we did when Carissa turned 13, and she'll be getting a makeover and her first makeup; Also like Carissa did. I think Scotty just had a pizza party. LOL! :razz: Boys are so easy. heehee!
