A few weeks ago, I was examining my commitment to God, my willingness to forego my own stuff to do His will, and I said a prayer. I told Him that I was willing to serve in whatever way He chose for me, but that I'm obtuse, lol. I told Him He'd need to spell it out really obviously to me. And, oh boy, He sure did!

I was made director of our toddler nursery a couple of months ago, and all I've done so far was round up a volunteer when one of our volunteers was unable to serve in the nursery. And, I don't know where it came from (ok, I do), but I got one of those sear-your-brainstem type of ideas on Wednesday.

Our toddler nursery has been just that, nothing more than a nursery. And it occurred to me that the toddlers in our church aren't learning *anything* about God. So, I started doing some research on the web, and within a couple of hours, I got together a basic plan for a Toddler Church during Sunday service. That way, our kids will get the opportunity to learn about the Lord, to learn to sing His praises, to learn very simple Bible verses, to listen to stories about His glory, all the great stuff we get to do in the Adult service, just geared toward 2 and 3 year olds. I emailed my idea to the church board member in charge of this area of the ministry on Wednesday afternoon, and I got his OK that night at church.

I've figured out the songs we're going to learn, gotten a recording of them, and gotten my coloring pages and everything all planned out so that the volunteer of the week doesn't have to do anything except to walk in, open a redweld and start teaching. They don't even have to think, lol!

This has just all happened so quickly, I'm dizzy! And I totally, absolutely praise the Lord, because I know that this is all of Him. All I did was open the door for Him to work through me. And He's such a fast worker, too!
