Poor girl, I hope the preggo pops work. tell her to get some sea bands. The kind that you wear when you go on a boat so you don't get sea sick. It will help some.
Here are some other things that I found that may help.

Blood Sugar Control
Eating regularly and frequently balances blood sugar. Include protein at every meal or snack and eat a form of easy-to-digest protein at bedtime, such as yogurt or egg. Some have found relief by eating saltine crackers as soon as they wake in the morning, before getting out of bed.

B Vitamins
It is best to take B vitamins in the form of a complex, though many have suggested that B6 is the main nutrient needed to combat morning sickness. (B6 can help those prone to carsickness as well.)

Bach Flower Remedies
The Bach Flower Remedies (http://www.healthnews.com/blogs/melanie-grimes/natural-health/alternative-medicine/what-are-bach-flower-remedies-2102.html) known to help with morning sickness include Crab Apple and Rescue Remedy. Crab Apple is associated with cleansing and the mother may feel that a toxin in their system needs to be purified. Rescue Remedy is a general tonic. These gentle herbal infusions are safe for most pregnant women to take.

Herbal Remedies for Morning Sickness
Herbs (http://www.healthnews.com/blogs/melanie-grimes/natural-health/herbal-remedies/herbal-medicine-a-primer-3047.html) that have helped prospective mothers to resolve morning sickness include peach tree leaves and raspberry leaf tea. Ginger is known to settle stomach upsets as well. The Motherwort plant is a great friend to mother’s but not particularly for gastric issues. It is an all-around tonic for women.

Homeopathic Remedies for Morning Sickness
Homeopathy (http://www.healthnews.com/blogs/susan-brady/natural-health/what-homeopathy-1717.html) has a number of useful remedies for morning sickness.

Nux vomica good remedy for morning sickness or even jaundice in pregnancy. The woman may be constipated and irritable. Nux is one of the main homeopathic remedies found useful for morning sickness, particularly if the mom-to-be is worse in the morning and better by evening.
Pulsatilla is another common remedy for nausea during pregnancy. The mother needing Pulsatilla can be nervous and have a bad taste in her mouth in the morning. For her, nothing tastes good. She might vomit bile or mucus and can be worse in the evening as well as in the morning.
Petroleum is a very useful remedy in treating nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, and for any gastric troubles during pregnancy. The nausea is worse when riding in moving vehicles.
Sepia also treats the nausea of pregnancy when the thought of food exacerbate the nausea. The person needing Sepia is aggravated from not eating and immediately relieved after a small bite of food.
Ipecacuanha is a remedy known to treat nausea in many forms, and the nausea of pregnancy is no exception. The sensation is one of uneasiness in the stomach and vomiting of undigested food.
Graphites treats the type of morning sickness that is accompanied by weakness and trembling or sweats.
Gossypium herbaceum is an herbal remedy particularly useful for ailments of the female organs. Used in herbal medicine to stimulate the ovaries, Gossypium is used in homeopathy to treat the type of morning sickness that is worse from the least motion and that starts soon after waking.
Lobelia treats nausea that is worse from eating warm foods or morning sickness accompanied with a great deal of saliva. This nausea will disappear after a small sip of water.

It is kind of trial and error to find what works the best for you. I have had alot of vomiting these past 2 pgs, and this is what usually helps me:

ginger tea (basically just boiled ginger root that I've sliced into pieces, sometimes hard candies or drinks made with real ginger help, not ginger ale)

sleep - if I go to bed earlier (sometimes alot earlier!) I usually feel way less sick in the morning.

sea bands help, too - the nausea didn't go away altogether, but it was a lot less

protein like eggs instead of toast or oatmeal for breakfast. I tried the whole crackers/bread before you get up thing and it didn't help that much, but eggs did.

Some women I know do swear by the whole crackers in bed before you get up thing, so maybe it will help your dd.

b6 alone didn't help me that much, but does work for some ladies. Some women (with drs permission) also use b6 + unisom. I never tried that, but some women swear it keeps them out of the hospital after previous pgs where they had to go in for dehydration or to get a pic line (if they couldn't keep any food down at all and needed IV nutrition).

When I am really bad I am usually sick/throwing up somewhere betw. 4am and 1pm but can keep food down in the late afternoon/early evening.
If she can't keep anything down or is losing weight and none of the stuff mentioned here helps then she might need something different from the dr. I just said a little prayer for her. I know it is so miserable being sick most of the day.

I used the sea bands with both my pregnancies and that helped quite a bit. I tried eating before getting out of bed, if helped here and there but not consistantly, changing toothpastes helped, to something not so minty, ginger didn't really help too much, and the preggo pops helped for a while and then the Lavender ones made it SO much worse to the point I couldn't smell lavender without getting sick. eating small meals. taking my vitamins before bed. those are some things that helped me.
