I have been having pelvic pain pressure and it has gotten a lot worse than any previous pregnancy. I can hear and feel popping and cracking sometimes, uhhh. I went to the chiropractor yesterday hoping that would help. I am not sure if what he did helped, but he told me it was really important to keep your knees together as much as possible. Especially when you are rolling over in bed and getting in and out of bed. Getting in and out of the car.. He said it really puts a strain on your pelvis when you spread your legs. It really did make a huge difference in the night. [verycool] That's my news anyone else have any good ways to relieve pelvic pain? Mine is pretty good when I am up and about, but I think I have been walking too much.
[thankssign]
Hhmm... interesting. I found that my pelvic pain would ease if I would sit on the floor with my knees far apart, leaning over a birthing ball. I would rock forward and backward on the ball and maaaan that would helpa LOT. I've never heard that about the keeping your knees together. Interesting stuff! thanks for sharing!!

I had the very same problem in my last pregnancy. It felt like my pelvis, where it seperates to allow the baby to pass, was shifting and popping and the pain was SO excruiating that I am cringing still thinking about it, and it was 8 1/2 years ago now. The fear of waking up every morning having to deal with that pain for the last 3 to 4 months of my pregnancy was absolutely Hell. In fact once I got up out of bed and heard that *POP* and felt the excruiating pain, Id cry and I could deal with the rest of the day. Nothing I did helped. Sorry, brings back bad memories.

I have been wondering about the ball? I just got one and have been using it a bit. I am fine when I am up and about it is just when I sit or lay down, the getting up is bad. I am all stiff and you kind of have to walk it out. Rolling over in bed is pure torture. ?? weird, but keeping the knees together sure helped for rolling? Ha the fun stuff ~ Glad the ball worked for you!
