Thanks so much for the well wishes and prayers ladies! [loveyou]

Yesterday we saw my doc as a follow up to our great adventure to the hospital, and it was my regular ~34 week appointment anyway.

She wasn't really surprised by our trip in. She did reassure me that I did the right thing by going in and all. Which, even though I was never doubting, was nice to hear nonetheless.

All she said was "Well, we want to get you to 36 weeks but don't be surprised if you don't make it to 40. Take it real easy these next few weeks and call with any changes." And I'm being moved up to weekly appointments so I'll see her next Tuesday again.

So things are moving along here. I thought it was a good a appointment altogether. She didn't say bedrest, but was clear I need to take it easy. Which is fine with me!

As for our trip to Michigan, yesterday I was ready to go mentally and so glad she didn't say "bedrest." But today, I'm feeling icky to my tummy and just achy. I'm wondering if traveling those hours in a car, being away from our hospital and doctor for those few days, and all that these things entail is really the best. I want to keep my baby girl safe and warm and healthy in me as long as possible. But I also want to see my in-laws and have fun at the shower they have planned for this Sunday (that might be a bit selfish on my part!).

Anyway, I'm going to be praying about it and hoping that God makes things very clear for us and for my in-laws (I don't like disappointing people... and on top of that, I don't think they ever fully understood the high risk factors of my pregnancy and don't want them to think I'm willfully choosing to not go to the shower. Does that make sense?? )

So there's the update on us. In the meantime, Grace is still kicking my ribs and thumping around! Sweet girl! [clapping]

glad to hear all is ok. Make sure you are taking it easy and listen to your body on whether to go on the trip or not.
