God is so good!
My sweet little 5 year old son was jumped on by a big, mean dog yesterday and when I got to him, his face was completely covered in blood. I thought he had been literally mauled. But, I got him cleaned up and saw that he only had one bad scratch; no bites. That is praise-worthy in itself, but, the scratch is on the eyelid. It missed his little eyeball by less than an inch. PRAISE GOD for His protection and care.

Please pray for him; his eye is really sore, looks awful. He got 6 stitches and it is terribly bruised this morning. And he is just still so nervous and weepy. His name is Tyler; please call his name in prayer this morning.

Footnote: I was sick with a terrible cold and sore throat yesterday; had been on the couch all day, but when this happened, God gave me a strength that I can't explain. I flew into action and took care of Tyler and this morning, my cold is gone!! I feel fine!

That's awesome about you feeling better and I am so glad little Tyler wasn't hurt too badly. Poor baby. I will be praying for him! I can't imagine how scary that was for him. :(

Ah, the strength of a mom when her little one needs her or is in trouble....all beware, God gave us a powerhouse of energy and if necessary, super-human strength to do things they or ourselves can't imagine! :wink:

Praise God that your son didn't lose an eye or something! I just prayed for his emotional recovery from this attack, and I thanked/praised God for His protection of Tyler.

Just wanted to update you good ladies. Tyler is fine; physically and mentally. He is afraid of the dog that scratched him and growled at him, but he isn't scared of other dogs. My Dad has a really big bulldog and Tyler walked right past him this week. The scratch isn't gonna leave a bad scar either. It was scary to him getting the stitches out, but he was fine.
