(No, I'm not TTC, but this was the best folder to put it in) I decided to sign up for an NFP refresher class because Couple to Couple League (CCL) has changed around their course and I felt that I could use the class to become more confident.
I got a really nice instructor and I was really impressed with the new course material. They have made the mucus sign much less confusing and made different classification categories.
Their teacher gave me specific counsel for my situation and overall, it was just very helpful.
I would highly encourage CCL classes (for TTC and especially for TTA), especially since they've updated and streamlined their course.
You can search for a local teacher at http://www.ccli.org.

OK, I just have to ask... what in the world is the Couple to Couple League?? And how do they help those of us that are TTC?

Couple to Couple League is an Natural Family Planning (NFP) teaching organization. So naturally learning NFP helps with TTC because you get to know your cycles and know when to try for a baby.

Oh, and just wanted to add that taking the class is helpful because sometimes instructors can see potential problems with TTC better than we can see them ourselves, especially if they have knowledge of the connection between fertility and nutrition and can spot charting problems and suggest remedies.

I agree, I don't think I would have noticed how short my luteal phase had gotten after S was born if I hadn't taken the NFP course. I had tried charting before the class on my own using TCoYF but I think bec I was still nursing my signs were all over the place and I was just confused/frustrated.
I have to renew my membership so that I can take their post-partum/NFP while nursing class this summer....

You're welcome! :D
And just an extra plug: to all those who want to use NFP to AVOID pregnancy, classes are highly, highly recommended. It helps to minimize necessary abstinence and make things clearer.
