DS has been wearing big boy undies since Sunday... and only 2 accidents. We even went out to stores and he went potty... [claploud] [clapping] [claploud]
Just wanted to share and keep praying that we continue this great success!!
He is wearing diapers to sleep at night, not quite sure when to go for the underwear at night... any suggestions.
[claphigh] good job to your ds!!!

CONGRATULATIONS [balloonsgalore] !! That's great---what a BIG boy he is now :D !!
When my little ones learned to "go potty" I let them wear Pull-Ups to bed for several weeks until there were no more accidents.

WOW ! That is EXCELLENT ! [cheer]
My daughter was dry in the morning first, when i started working on the day time routine. I don't know anyone else that experienced that! (she was only 2)
Anyway, you should see by the morning nappy if he is ready. when the nappy is dry every morning (and that pull up sounds like an excellent suggestion - cause he can go on his own if he needs to)
i called the pull up nappies "Special panties" for my daughter. i did not want her to think they were nappies. Try to make them sound so grand and "Big people's"

How old is your son? Ash will be 3 in February and he still isn't trained. He won't tell you that he has to go. He has sat on a potty for almost two years now and if you catch it just right he will go, but not always. The last two nights he has tried to stand up and straddle his little potty. It is a scream. I just would be happy if he said he needed to go and would do it.

DS will be 3 on Sat... so hang in there. ALL I CAN SAY IS BE PATIENT. It will happen. You know how they say they will do it when they are ready... well they are right. I think he got to the point where he saw everyone else going potty & not getting diapers changed...
It is great though, no more stinky diapers, well at least from him. He went #2 today all by himself. I helped him clean himself, but YIPPPEEEE!!!

Hurray! I agree that when he wakes up dry consistently he's ready for underwear all night. Don't worry Beth, boys tend to be slower. Ds got trained the week before his 3rd birthsy, but dd has been trained for almost 5 mo. now and she won't be 3 until Dec. 29.
