So today has been a major change in my hormones, obviously. I got my three littlest in the van to go grocery shopping and.... whoa... had to turn around and come home. I just about threw up in the van. [whateww] I was feeling so super sleepy suddenly too.[sleep]

Sooooooooooo....

1) MAJOR fatigue has kicked in... I feel like I could just sleep the day away. IF we could have a full time nanny so I could do this, I would so leap at the chance right now. Oy.

2) MAJOR nausea... I still haven't blown chunks, but I almost wish, at this point, that I would! Just to have a bit of relief. Oy.[rotfl]

BUT... not only am I thankful for these symptoms, but I find myself rejoicing over them. It always scares me a bit when I *don't* feel anything.

Also... my abs never got a chance to bounce back from Eliya... and my uterus is pushing all my fat up and out... so that now, I look THREE months pregnant. Oy. It's nuts I tell ya. [rofllolblurb]

Any other mom's experience looking pregnant sooner with subsequent pregnancies, especially children closer together? I'm kinda sorta hoping this trend doesn't keep up too much... so that at nine months pregnant I look like I'm carrying around a couple hogs under my shirt! ::snort::

BUT, honestly, I'm *not* complaining. I'm already enjoying the fact that GOD has given us another blessing~ It's nice to be able to laugh at these little things~

Thanks for letting me share~[lovesign]

Jen your hillarious! I'm glad you have a good attitude about it all!! I don't think I was so chipper about fatigue and morning sickness, lol.

Oh yeah! Actually I'm experiencing looking pregnant when I'm not! (Or at least, I don't think I am.) Too bad we can't all be like Tara, eh? ;)

Jen
Do you like pickles? The vinegar in pickles helps settle that ick feeling.

Anyhow,What is weird for me is, I was big with Josiah.

Here is a pic from about this time with him.

Maybe you're having a boy and that's why it's popping out a little faster :hehehe:

Yeah, Esther, I love, love, love your belly pictures! You're so stinkin beautiful! :)

I can *do* pickles, but they aren't my favorite... but I am definitely craving salty/spicy/sour things... can't do sweets *AT ALL* or else I feel like I'm going to lose it... and now, I don't even like the LOOK of sweets. Which, isn't a bad thing as it should help keep the weight gain down. ;)

I think I'm just entering that yucky period where nothing sounds good, and the things that DO sound good ya just don't have or don't feel like going out and getting... so ya just kinda nibble and *deal*. KWIM? It isn't so bad though... just five or six more weeks of this and it'll be the "honeymoon trimester"! :)

Crackers were my lifesaver. I would have some before I even got up, and that would help a lot. Had to make sure I had some food in my stomach at all times. Like eat something (a lot of crackers lol) every 2 hours or so. Alos ginger and peppermint are suppose to help a lot.. I have tea with both in it (Good earth sweet and spicy tea) and it's really good. It tastes mildly sweet but doesn't have any sugar or anything in it.

Thanks Jen.
I agree with Chrissy about eating something before getting up. I tend to struggle with keeping my belly full and that usually will lead to nausea.
Have you been doing that? or do you kind of put it off?

I try not to overeat... I'm watching my calories. I did some researching and because of my weight and BMI I should only gain about 15-20 pounds this pregnancy. Soooo... I've got to really watch what and how much I eat. It isn't a *big* deal since I'm staying on top of my workouts, but if I eat all day, then I tend to gain. So, I'm trying to find low cal, low sugar ways to keep nausea at bay. And even if I can't.... at least typically I only have until 12 weeks and then I don't have too much nausea after that.

Thanks for all the well wishes and such ladies~ :)

I know what you mean Jen.
I'm the same way. I always gain too much weight in my pregnancies. 40 to 50 lbs.
So i'm trying not to stuff my face all day long , but since i do need to have something in my stomache to keep me from feeling sick, I will cut my meals in half. eat smaller portions, so 3 normal meals will turn into 6 smaller meals. I try to eat salads a little more in between. So far my weight gain has been slow. but I think nursing has helped with that as well.

I am in the same boat, but am kind of worried I will go over 20 this time, hopefully not by too much though. I had really bad nausea this time and found that if I had 2 eggs as soon as I got up it really helped keep away the worst of it. If I had something else for breakfast that didn't have protein in it, I would feel sick the whole day. I think 2 eggs is less than 200 calories, even so with a slice or 2 of toast or some fruit it should be ok for a morning meal...
