View Full Version : Higher HCG this time?
I've always had low betas during pregnancy... well the early part anyway. I was actually put on progesterone the month I was finding out I was pregnant with Emma, as I had early m/c's before her. THIS time around though, I feel that it's higher.
Here's why I think that... I was sick literally the WEEK AF was due when I was pregnant with Emma... and this time it's the same. I'm fighting back losing my breakfast, gagging on plain water and craving carbonation. I have that inner "shaky" feeling you get when your nauseated, just like I did with her. I am still taking the B6 and Omega 3-6-9, so I'm wondering if they have anything to do with it? [whatthink] They are both supposedly good for balancing/improving hormone levels. Don't know how true that is.
Otherwise... of course... my mind is wandering to... possibly twins? I have never been so sick as when I had the twins. Oy vey. I would welcome twins... I don't think i could help but have a touch of anxiety about being so sick again, though. [whatwacko]
Anywho... I guess you could call this my "welcome to the club" post in the pregnancy forum~ :)
Reneemomto5 06-05-2009, 01:37 PM I was on progesterone with all of my pregnancies Jen. I wasn't in tune and still am not in tune with my body like many of the moms here.
Are you having early blood work done to check? I also had extreme nausea with my pregnancies its noooo fun what so ever so hugs to you.

My grandmother in law came over today and told me that she woke up thinking about me having TWIN BOYS! Ha! That is just too much~ ::snort:: Then she told her son we were pregnant (my uncle) and he said, "Man, wouldn't it be wild if they had to boys!" It's starting to get "Weird". ::snort:: lol

I'm sure it's not far off, but I'm in no hurry. I'm not rushing. I've not had ppaf yet, thank you very much. Not that that necessarily means anything, but, ya know :p
gamommyto4girls 06-05-2009, 11:36 PM Congratulations momma! I'm so excited for you. I hope the ickies don't get any worse, with each of my preg. I was a little better than the one before. Almost like my body got better at dealing with the hormone surges.
