Crissyanna 11-28-2006, 03:01 PM YEAH!!!!!!! You are alive!!!!!! We've been rather concerned..... Yeah, babies can start to teethe at three months. I know someone who's kid cut their first one at six weeks  . I have heard of babies being born with teeth. I pray mine gets hers later instead of sooner..... We have friends who's one year old only has four teeth. And from working in the day care, I've seen kids at one year with a whole mouth full. It is different for each kid. If she seems to be in pain, you can try oil of clove on her gums, orajel or anbesol, Hyland's teething tablets work decently well for some and give her someting to chew on. I'm so glad to see you post!!!! Cheeseburger 11-28-2006, 03:02 PM My mother-in-law said DH had a tooth come through at 2 1/2 months, but then it went back in and came back out at 6 months! LOL Katherine just got her first two teeth, but i do believe she's chewed on her fist since she was 2-3 months... she didn't discover her ability to suck on her thumb until recently. buttercup_97140 11-28-2006, 03:35 PM My DD started the "teething" symptoms around this time too..but she didn't get her teeth until she was 9 months old. I did have a friend who's baby had her first teeth in by 3 months though! :-D Hyland teething pills are awesome for our DD.....they seem to work so well!! Amber LaDonna 11-28-2006, 03:45 PM Emma started teething and having issues when she was almost 2 mths and it went on from there off and on. I will keep you in my prayers because that can be trying times not only for baby but for mommy and daddy as well. There are some friends from church who told us about these teething tablets and you can give them to your kids and they disolve right away. You can find them at CVS or Walgreens. Make sure about the age because our dd was older than what your lil one is. mamallama 11-28-2006, 04:08 PM My first child started teething at six weeks so yeah...it can staart early. A [hug] for baby Hannah. Teething is rough stuff! :( stephwhiz 11-28-2006, 04:28 PM DS got his first two teeth at three months..DD was four months before she got her first one. Best of luck with the teething. Stephanie :D ~Tara~ 11-28-2006, 04:37 PM Aayup Most of mine have started around late 3/early 4 mo. Now watch out for a change in the diaper as well ;) Have some teething tablets on hand, as needed if it's too bad. Oh and amber teething necklace ;) Some may not buy into the whole idea, but I noticed an almost immediate difference in my son once we started using it. I'll be back with a link.... http://www.threesisterstoys.com/storedetail.asp?item=10000357&ItemName=Amber%20Teething%20Necklace Of course, there are others, just be sure it's real amber. You could even find a good bead shop and have them make or you purchase supplies to make your own. This calmed my baby and the drooling stopped..he was soaking 3 outfits a day! Then I put on his necklace and it just stopped, within 2 hours there was no more drool and he was a content happy go lucky child again! Anywho, there's my amber testimony haha Yes, Hannah could very well be teething already. BlessedMommy 11-28-2006, 05:34 PM Yeah, someone said when they looked at her gums that they looked white. And they said they knew a baby who had two teeth at 4 months. However Hannah doesn't seem to be in pain yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.... Godzgirl 11-28-2006, 11:09 PM This happened with both of my babies although they showed no sign of teeth until a couple of months later. |
