I went out shopping and bought refrigerator locks and cupboard locks. I'll have to take the cupboard locks back because they don't work on most of our cupboards, but the refrigerator locks work great! It was just priceless to see her try to open the fridge and not succeed, lol.

Now I don't have to be screaming at her 12 times a day not to get into the fridge without permission. And I don't have to worry about her getting into the butter or mayo and smearing it on the carpet or eating huge quantities of it plain.

Woohoo! Now, to find some cupboard locks that work..... :D Micah's toddlerhood will be easier than hers, because I'll just keep everything under lock and key from the get go.

Be careful with the fridge locks. Ours worked until the day I forgot it was locked and opened the door. Pop went the lock.

Um, aren't they supposed to PREVENT you from opening the door? Thus far if I forget it's locked and grab the fridge door it won't open.

We bought a fridge lock over a year ago, put it on and within a day or two Abby broke it off. So we never bothered again...lol!

We have had a few that didn't last very long too :(. But it was definately a sanity saver for a while to have a few in place. I hope your have great success with them.

yes locks eliminated a lot of issues for us too! Glad they are working. You can buy magnet ones for kitchen bathroom cabinets, some of the ladies on here suggested them to me when I was looking for ideas. The other kind did not work for us!
