I was talking to my Mum this afternoon on the phone arranging the twins birthday party - only to have DD and DS decide for some unknown reason to go and put their feet into the toilet and make "foot prints" around the house. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I only just mopped yesterday.

My Mum cackled wickedly when I said to the kids "What are you doing?"
and she overheard me finding out exactly how they made their little decoration all over my wood floors and bathroom tiles RRRRRRRRRR

mmm okay, going have a coffee first. Catch my breath and pull out the mop.

I think I may even make the kids mop it, with supervision of course

Is it just my kids who get up to these gross deeds??? LOL.

ANother time they proudly declared to me they had washed their hands, and then added "in the toilet".
You'd think they would have got the message toilets are dirty by now???

LOL how gross!! Surely they will grow out of THAT stage.

I hear toilets are cleaner than a lot of other things though. Your toilet is probably cleaner than the "science projects" in the back of my fridge, for instance! ;)

LOL !
Now you will have something to tease them with in a few years time when they will realise just how gross that is.

I would make sure I use the "toliet duck" or whatever to keep that toilet extra clean more often than normal.

Just a question - :?: do you have some form of step to help them reach the basin (clean supply of water) ? Sounds to me they find it easier to access the toilet's water than the basin / bath.

It is very tiring, but we all love them dearly.
Tomorrow, you will laugh about it.

The other day my dd was going potty and she wanted me to wipe her, but then started throwing a fit. I swatted her on the leg, she covered her leg with her hands, and you guessed it, fell in! Mine have unrolled the whole roll of toilet paper into the toilet. Very nice to clean out!

[rofllol] Unfortunately, I also had to clean something similar today. DS decided to dismiss any concept of aim [peeing] today... [chorewashclothes]

this has been very entertianing! [rofl]

Though, i feel the pain. Em came out of bed confinement for being rotten and I thought she was just being disobedient so, I told her to go back to her room and she said "but, I have to go potty" and then peed right there on the carpet right infront of the cd rack [cry] she got to hang in the tub with the water running and fun bath toys while I cleanded individual cd's and the carpet- doesn't quite seem fair but, I'll keep her anyway :D

MAB - Yes I use pure bleach in my toilet to clean it. Yes the kids can get to the sink - they have a special handwashing sink set up for them daily and they know where it is and how to use it , they simply wanted to play with the toilet LOL.

Funny thing is, they both saw the advert for "toilet duck" and began asking me if they could "please have that duck that goes in the toilet" ROTF

LOL who was it that said to put a toddler proof latch on the loo - ROTF but then that would be a nightmare having to go down to the bathroom x2 everytime they wanted to pee, so no, I will just have to convince them of the error of their ways when playing with the toilet.

They are four in 2 weeks time.

and oh what a joyful thought the fun will begin all over again in two years time with my little Matilda. :D :D :D

ahhh count it all joy right?
