Reneemomto5 11-23-2006, 06:52 PM I am so sorry Em, I was hoping to see an update of Ben or Rachel making his/her appearance. Prayers baby will realize its time to make their grand exit and very soon. I am sure no one wants that more than you. You are probably so anxious to meet baby. Hugs and prayers, keep us posted okay. luvmy4sons 11-23-2006, 07:51 PM :( Hang in there. All in God's perfect timing. It does seem to us on occasion that He is late, does it not? LOL! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. :) ~Tara~ 11-24-2006, 04:14 AM Soooo...baby decided s/he did not want to be so closely associated with a big turkey dinner... But wants to extend that feeling by coming a tad later *grins* Just a note here...Em...are you "ok" about going into labor? Are there any issues you need to get out and taken care of? All is well with dh? No big fear/concern over labor? Any of these things can make the psyche run wild and shut things down. Just be sure your heart and mind are free, ok? When labor starts up again, stay up and moving around..and pray to keep things clear and moving forward. :) Mab 11-24-2006, 07:23 AM Hang in there, I am sure you will be hold your baby in your arms in no time! May the Lord fill you with His peace and comfort. And enjoy whatever sleep/rest you get, When baby is here, with all the excitement and all, you don't get as much sleep & rest as before. Praying for you. EmJo 11-24-2006, 12:11 PM Thanks for your caring and prayers. Yesterday evening it looked like we were making progress again, but this morning the contractions stopped once more. My mw told me this is a "variation of normal, but very irritating." She's not worried about it, just emphasized that I need to get as much rest as possible. She also says that the contractions might be caused Baby being in not quite the perfect position, and gave me an exercise to do to encourage him/her to get aligned at the cervix correctly in case s/he isn't. Anyway, I'm not totally frustrated anymore. I know there's a reason Baby is still inside, and I've given the process totally to God. :) jengrant 11-24-2006, 01:02 PM I'm glad you are feeling better about it. Rest while you can, I have a feeling it won't be long! Godzgirl 11-24-2006, 06:36 PM Praying for you. Get some rest. Love and hugs Cheeseburger 11-24-2006, 06:59 PM I'm sure baby will be here soon! I had early labor contractions on and off for a WEEK... we went to the ER and they hooked me up to the contraction machine... the doctor was sure she would be born that day, since they were very strong, very regular... well... she didn't come til 6 days later... seemed like forever! It was like being pregnant an additional nine months, seemed to take so long. LOL It's frustrating I know!! But you'll forget all about it when you see your beautiful baby!! |
