"When I was a child, I was given my first sheep by my grandfather. After the passing of a few springs and having watched generation after generation being born, I reckoned that I owned the whole flock. I had just one problem: coyotes! I can remember several nights of lying on the roof of the barn in the moonlight, hoping for a clear shot at a coyote. However, my grandfather and i would usually be outsmarted, for as soon as we went into the house for a break, the cunning coyotes would come and take a sheep.
