Hey ladies!

I've been off for a while, but I really need some support right now, so I'm back! [halo]
Long story short, AF is 4 days late (I've been 31 days like *clockwork* lately!) but my longest cycle was 38 days (last summer). If that's what's happening, then AF is due Sunday... if not, then... when should I test?

I SO don't want to see another BFN. I'd rather wait for AF to just show up, kwim? I haven't been temping, but I know things worked out well in terms of catching an egg this past month... I've had tender breasts (normal for AF), some bleeding gums when I brush (normal for AF), sensitivity to smells (normal for AF), emotional and crying at the drop of a hat (normal for AF) but no spotting yet. That usually happens the day or two before AF shows up.

This morning God told me that children are an inheritance from the Lord. You know when He just plants verses in your head like that? It's pretty cool! I'm going to go look that verse up, and be encouraged that He's talking to me about children again! lol

Would you pray with me? I'm not even exactly sure what for, but maybe just that I'd have the grace to accept whatever happens in the next few days. I know I'll be fine either way, but living with the hope of a BFP is kinda painful... kwim?

Thanks ladies!

Hi Sarah! It's nice to see you again. [lovesmile] I sure will pray that the Lord's will grant you a BFP this month if it is His will. How exciting that would be!

Tripper, your story has already touched me so much...and I've only been around for a short time. I know what it's like waiting for AF, but dreading a BFN so much that testing is not on the top of your list of things to do! My prayer is for peace and acceptance of whatever outcome you face, but also for the miracle that we know God is capable of producing...a BFP!!!

I will be praying for you and all the other moms [praying]

Aw ladies!... I'm sitting here with tears welling up! Thank you for all your replies! [loveyou]

So I haven't noticed anything significant today, although I *thought* I saw some spotting when I wiped this afternoon... not totally sure though. I'm just going to take it one day at a time and if AF hasn't shown up Sunday, I'll test Monday like Esther suggested.

On a side note, I searched for the idea of children actually *being* an inheritance from the Lord on BibleGateway but couldn't find a verse with that idea in it. Hmm... I'll have to keep thinking about what God could have meant by that phrase. I'd hate to think it was just my mind playing tricks on me, but it may have just been that too!

are you looking for this verse?
Psalm 127:3-5 (King James Version)

3Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Hi Tripper! It's good to see you back. I'll pray for you [pray].

I think that the bible verse that you were looking for is Psam 127:3.

Yeah, that's it! Teehee... I guess the word I should have used was 'heritage', not 'inheritance' - big difference!

Well, I had some more spotting tonight, so I'm pretty sure AF is on her way either tomorrow or Sunday. Thanks for the support anyways ladies! :-D

I am so sorry Af showed. I will be praying for and your journey. It is so hard to understand why God allows things to happen and not, but His will is perfect and I know He has heard your cry for Children.

Heavenly Father, I pray for Sarah, for her hope and grief. I pray Lord that you would allow extra grace while she waits for your answer for children. I pray Lord that your will would give her children that would bless her and her husband. That they would grow strong and healthy and be your children. Lord, please be with them during this time of waiting, and help them focus on you during this time, let them feel your strength and blessings in other ways. Ease their grief and Bless this next month. I pray Lord for your will in this.

Thanks again ladies!

I'm doing ok - I'm super busy these days so I don't have a lot of time to really focus on it, but I'm not really looking forward to tomorrow... [sadashamed] I'm just going to have to focus on paying respect to my mother and grandmothers instead of how I'm feeling!

I know God's got a plan - I just wish I knew what it was, kwim? Sigh...

At least we're living in our 'own' place now! Little steps...

I just had an incredible experience!!

Thank you Esther for finding that verse for me - I think God's just confirmed something! A couple in our church have adopted 2 children thru an organization called Jewels For Jesus and I was just checking out their site. I went to the Testimonials section, and there was Psalm127:3 "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him."

So I think we're going to check this organization out a little more closely... [lovesmile]
