No... it's not... but for a while there we were thinking there were two little babies in there.
I had my first prenatal appointment today and my doctor just took one look at me and was like "uhhhh.... I have a slight suspicion that there might be multiples in there." She took me right in to see if she could hear two heart beats.... she could only hear one but she wanted to be sure so she sent me right away to get an ultrasound (it was my first this pregnancy).

Anyway, it was quite the excitement for a bit there because I was totally preparing myself to hear the news that it was twins.... CRAZY!

But sure enough, there is just one in there... but my uterus is measuring at 17 weeks rather than 14..... but the baby is right on target for me being 14 weeks.

Woah... how big of a shock would that be? Going from two kids to all of the sudden 4?!

We'd probably have to move... we'd probably have to do a lot of things. hahahah!

I know exactly how you feel. At my first appointment they gave my a u/s and I was thinking that "what if it's twins"?
Twins run on both sides of my family so whenever I get pregnant I always get a bit nervous until I see that there is only 1!

Although Jen says it's great having twins! I think it would be great as well, just overwhelming!

awww

I apparently talked to Jen and LL waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much last pg as I was hoping it was twins :p I was measuring bigger as well. I saw a midwife early in pg and the first thing out of her mouth was something about twins.

Anywho, I still think it would be neat to have twins. Work, yes, it would be, but I guess I've just been around some great mommies of twins who assure me it really IS neat having multiples. And just like any and everything else, it'll work out :)

Having twins then for us would have meant a new vehicle, as one had us filled to capacity. Now we'd have to 'upgrade' our vehicle anyway, so, that wouldn't matter if I got pg with twins :p

Anyway, rambling....I had some Dr. Pepper earlier...sorry. LOL

Good to hear all is going well...twins or no twins ;) :D

That's what happened with us! We went from 2 to 4 literally over night! ::snort:: But, we prayed for it, and received that miracle, that's the crazy part! ::snort:: We're just a bunch of loonies over here. ;) I'm glad you got the Okay today on the baby and yourself! :) Big hugs!
