Jodie was my supervisor at work (supermarket). She's a lovely lady. Anyway, she was due on the 17th November. She had a baby boy. I'm not sure when. We went to do our grocery shopping on Thursday (16th) night and were told she had been in labour since 10pm Wednesday and her contractions were too close together for her to be sent home. She was supposed to be having baby at the local hospital but they realized baby was breech so she was rushed to Middlemore Hospital. She had a baby boy (not sure what they have named him) and he was 8lbs 2ozs. This is her first baby after years of TTCing. She's in her early 30s and I think she was becoming pretty depressed thinking she would never get pregnant and then all of a sudden she was pregnant. :D
I'm going to go and visit her soon. I didn't want to bother her in hospital because I think she is probably very tired and sore. And I know how I didn't want visitors after having my two. So I would rather wait until she is home and then visit. I'm going to phone her and make sure it's ok first.
