Okay, AF arrived on April 5th, lasted a little longer then normal and left on Sunday the 12th. Happy Easter to me! Any idea when I might be ovulating. I am doing what I am told and watching my mucus but as of now there is nothing. Also, sorry if it is TMI but how do you know if it is mucus of "leftovers" from intercourse with DH the night before?

Esther said that sperm dissolve in water, so if what you have dissolves when you put it in water, then you know it isn't EWCM. Are you charting on Fertility Friend? I have found that to be incredibly helpful! I'm using Answers Ovulation Predictor strips; they are 20 strips for about 17 bucks... and if I have leftovers I put them in a ziplock and use them my next cycle. I have found them to be incredibly accurate when used properly. If you can temp that will help you find ovulation too. Some women say that Cervical position doesn't tell them anything ,but mine changes throughout my cycle like clockwork... low/firm/closed before/during AF, then high/soft/open during Ovulation.

yes, if you have left overs you can get a cup and drop some in, if it clumps into a ball it is fertile cm. If not and it dissolves it is left overs.
Do you know what your cycle lengths range from? 28? 32? 30?
If you are a 28 cycle girl then "typically" you O around day 14. But anything can shift your O day. stress. a cold. so just keep an eye out for that stretch cm. most the time if you look while you use the restroom you'll see it stretch into the toilet.
