Hi!
My name is Mary, mama to Allee (rhymes with Sally) who just turned 5 years old. She and I have made our own little family since she was placed with me just after her 3rd birthday. We live in Oregon, in a tiny, unincorporated town near Portland. I became a Christian 2 years (and 4 days) ago, right before Allee came to live with me. Away from church and home, I am a family practice Medical Assistant, birth and postpartum doula, and student lactation consultant.

Wow Mary, I bet you got a story to tell! Welcome to Cmoms. I hope you find your way around here pretty quickly... Im Gen... Been around for a while and I love it here. I really hope you feel welcome and get stuck right in. Ive got three kids. Twin girls at 9 (almost 10), and a wonderful little boy who is 8. My girls are quite special too ;-). Been married for 10 years this year. Im from America, cleveland but have been living in the UK with my british dh for 9 years now... Im a sahm..... mmm. what else... Im very silly... and often say things just before I put my foot into my mouth... so be warned...

Hi Mary
I'm Danielle- married for 7 years with 1 1/2 children. My son will be 3 in October- right around the time #2 arrives.
I too am a pp doula (as well as a birth doula and cbe). Welcome to the board.
You will see me post occaisionally- as getting a chance to type with a 2.5 year old computer lover is challenging.
