So I dreamnt last night that I found out I was pregnant. Not only was I pregnant, but I was having a little girl. Not only was I having a little girl, but I was 6 months along.... I felt her move, I saw my tummy move and *this is weird and impossible but* even though she was in my womb, I was able to hold her with my arms and she reached up and touched my face. I was in tears. I was elated with joy.

Isn't that strange? Now personally I don't know if I am pregnant and I don't put a whole lot of stock in dreams unless you are joseph, but it felt so real. I'm on cd 29 right now but I won't officially be late until cd 32. I don't do hpt any more because even when you're not ttc and you get a bfn, it's still a let down in a way. *even my dh was disappointed last month* so we shall see this month.
I was gone in WA. when I was having ewcm, but on cd 16 I got home and dh and I bd quite a bit that night and the next. EWCM was still present, so we shall see. I know it's in God's hands. It's just interesting to see what His plans may be.

With my first pregnancy, my Mom had a VERY vivid dream I was pregnant with a boy....I was supposed to start another rounds of fertility drugs the next day and it would have aborted a pregnancy (we has JUST had an ultrasound so I knew I was NOT pregnant!)....she MADE me test that day though....and it was POSITIVE...and I had our first...a boy to boot.....

With my second successful pregnancy, I dreamed that I was pregnant and it was so real I tested the next morning...we weren't trying and had to use fertility measures for our first and didn't think we could get pregnant alone....it was positive too....

So, in our house, we put a LOT of stock in dreams...I believe God still speaks to his children through dreams and I tend to listen to mine now! Good luck! (I realize it can also be emotion and dreaming about things you are thinking heavily on too, not every dream is a diving vision from God! LOL)

Funny that you should post this. I was actually thinking of posting to ask if anyone had dreams about their children before they were born. Because I believe I had a dream about my daughter when I was pregnant with ds. It was just one of those vivid dreams that has stuck with me. But I didn't get pregnant with her until a couple of years later - so it was no indication of timing in my case. The girl in my dream was about 11 years old - so I don't know yet if she will look like the girl in my dream but I think it is likely. The girl in my dream was on a boat - and dd already has a surprising facination with boats at 2 years old although we are not a boating family.

I'm a big believe that God speaks to us through dreams, not only regarding pregnancy but other things as well!

Breezy, those are 2 awesome stories right there :)

It will be interesting to see what pans out, Esther!

Wow that is an amazing dream Esther. I haven't had any dreams really stick with me like that, except maybe the scary ones involving my kids once in a great while. (that never cam true I must say thankfully)

So I am now vvvvverrrry interested in the next week for you in what may come, or even the next pregnancy, and its a girl just wow!

Before I even met my husband, I had a dream. In the dream I was in my military uniform (i was in the Army in real life). Then suddenly the clothes got so tight it was like I could not breathe. I told my friends "I have to go change clothes!!" And i went into a dressing room and as soon as I took off my uniform, I was pregnant and had on maternity clothes underneath!! Then I woke up.

That was I think... March 05. I met DH in april or may online. I met him in person in August. I officially was discharged from the U.S. Army August 17th. We married August 25th, two weeks later I got a BFP I gave birth to Katherine the next spring.

God definitely still speaks through dreams. That is not the only one I have had that has come true. Joel 2. He does it for all His sons and daughters, not just apostles or whatever. ~

My bf dreamt that I was sitting on her sofa (in Texas, I was living over here when she had the dream) with a preggo belly. She told me about the dream and the very next month I was pg and we weren't even trying. And two week after finding out we were pregnant I was sitting on her couch in Texas, no joke.

And then I had a dream two January's ago that my bf was pg (they had been trying for 8 months without success) and she ended up getting pregnant in that same January, just about 2wks after I told her about my dream. She now has a healthy 4 1/2 month old baby girl.

I have had other dreams that have come true too, but have also had some dreams that were just a heap of rubbish....lol. But I agree with the others, I think God still speaks to us today through our dreams.

It will be interesting to see if your dream comes true. Exciting!

Yeah, I must say, I've never put much stock in dreams either, but when I was early in my second pregnancy, I had a dream that I was having twins! I remember telling my mom and my husband, "Haha, wouldn't that be crazy?!"

When I went in for my first appointment, the nurse practitioner said, "Wow, you're measuring bigger- are you sure when you got pregnant?" I told her, "Yep, I'm positive! Oh well, maybe I'm having twins- I had this dream...etc., etc." And we both laughed. Until about 10 minutes later when she did an ultrasound and said, "Uh, you guys, I really think I see TWO babies in there!" I was floored- they don't run in our family or anything.

Ever since then, I'm more open to believing dreams! :-D

Ditto-ing everyone else... *Most* of my dreams have been rubbish but I've had quite a few that came true or had the context of realism of something that came true. That would be neat, Esther! I hope you get your BFP and have your little girl number 2!!! :) ::hugs::

Don't get me wrong ladies, I don't NOT believe that God can still speak to us through dreams.
I'm just saying for myself, I have not had a dream come true. My mom on the other hand has had several. (that's how we got in caught doing things in High School)
I don't know. I have either been fighting off a cold or I'm just sick. Nauseous... we shall see.

can I be honest? I soooooo want to do a hpt, but I am soooooooo nervous that it will be a bfn. I know who is in control, yada yada yada. I have to say that I personally *think* I am pregnant, but I could just be imagining things. Maybe I'll just keep waiting a while longer. Should I have a dead line as to when I should test? Dh is gone until friday. He went to IN. for a Pastor's Conferance. I want to test before friday if af hasn't shown her face.
What should I do ladies?

A VERY CLEAR AND VERY OBVIOUS POSITIVE!! Congratulations Esther! I don't personally think that you need to spend the money on a more expensive test. I'm guessing by a casual glance at your chart that your baby is due around the 3rd week of November.

Woohoo! Another C'moms baby!

Congratulations Esther!!

Oh, and yeah, the "baby dreams" have happened to me, too. Well, kinda, lol. The night before my ultrasound, I had such a clear, vivid dream that I was having the ultrasound done, and the tech was telling me it was a boy. As soon as I woke up, I was sooooooo excited, telling dh "I just know it's a boy, I just know it, I had a dream!". Anyway, a few hours later we had our ultrasound, and yep, a boy he is! With ds #2, even before I was pregnant, I just knew our next child would be a boy. Not an "I think it might be" but a rock solid "I know". Funny, huh? I remember telling dh "Our next one will be a son." Of course, I wasn't even pregnant, and we weren't even trying at that stage, lol. So, I guess I should understand why dh was a bit skeptical!

Congrats again, Esther, what wonderful news!
