View Full Version : Mommy in Russia
Ashley L 03-14-2009, 05:33 AM Hi! I am a mommy of 2 (daughter who is 3, and son who is 1 and a half), and we live in Russia and are in ministry to college students. This past year I have been the only mom/wife on my team here, so I have been looking for creative ways to find community, both here where I live and also with other American moms (mostly online) who I might be able to relate to a bit more on cultural things. I love my Russian friends dearly, but sometimes it is refreshing in a different way to relate to those with my same world view. It has been fun to discover places like this to get to know people and hear about what people are thinking with regards to motherhood and living for Jesus. It is nice to meet you all!

I love Campus Crusade for Christ. My hubby grew up with a family that was/is with CCC in Bulgaria. Dh's parents were with the Nazarene church but met so many great missionary families over there that we still stay in touch with. Oh and you can just call me Sarah. Like I said before welcome aboard.
